Right. E-Sky Lama V3 is suitable for beginners but the price on that website seems not right. Too expensive.

for starters very cheap oni... RM50 buy a mini heli from sg wang, see if u like onot... then maybe RM150/200 for a basic 3.5channel small heli about 12" length one, practice in the field till pro can control edi...
then go serious, start with 6channel i think RM400 onwards to 1.5k also got i kena poison alrd |

Not just 1.5k ... the price range for 6 Channel CCPM heli is very wide ..... if you kena poison be prepared to shrink your wallet
I am one of the small wallet victim ...... Added on October 1, 2010, 8:13 pm QUOTE(Snowguy2068 @ Oct 1 2010, 06:27 PM) Depends .... cheapo 450 size around RM500 and it is Ready To Fly (RTF). But recommend to upgrade charger and buy more battery. Standard 6 cell charger around RM200 and 3S 2200maH battery around RM80 each. So at least RM780 already. Once you crashed the heli you will need to replace parts ..... so expect at least 1K to spend first ....... but definitely not enough .... So far I have spent a few k in few months This one still not crashing into airplane. Bro Qiw i think more than 5 digits, true ar? This post has been edited by daddoo: Oct 1 2010, 08:17 PM |

my total repair cost for the 450PRO is less than rm400 so far ....
buying NEW STUFF/MODELS is not considered repair/maintenance costs as it is the same with everything .. if u fly the same thing too long .. it will become BORING and repetitous .. so it is very normal to buy new stuff to fly and get a different type of FEEL the closest thing to real RC on a budget is the ESKY LAMA series or something similar .. those rm50-80 stuff is just for u to have fun for a couple of weeks for starters to get poison ... not expensive .. less than rm200 to get the ESKY .. rm100 to get a few more batteries then how u go from there depends on yourself .. it can be on a budget of less than rm1k IF u source around for 2nd hand stuff to more than the costs of your car .. all is up to u |

QUOTE(daddoo @ Oct 1 2010, 08:16 AM) Better ask from mymegastation instead of fxx. I stop buying from them already for a reason. i saw a few models from mymegastation's website..ESky Lama V3 can find spare part easily ...... I also recommend this although I do not have one before. It was RM159.90 from mymega but as I know now it should be back order. Lama V3 ARTF - RM99.90 Lama V3 RTF - RM159.90 Lama V4 ARTF - RM99.90 Lama V4 RTF - RM159.90 wuts the difference btween V3 and V4, ARTF and RTF versions? |

Yes, you are right. I am in PG island. Lonely flyer .........
Is that normal if I do pitch bump a few rounds then my tail cannot hold? There is no problem when I just bump once, but if keep bumping by pushing the throttle up and down, then at the end my tail will drift a lot. Might be my finger problem but if it is not is that possible? Qiw, have you sold your king2? This post has been edited by daddoo: Oct 3 2010, 10:34 PM |
