No worries, everyone is getting 1080i from Astro B.yond.

Wonder when will Astro release the USB recording function? If yes, what will be the "extra" charges like...

According to a reliable source, it maybe as soon as May 2010 before World Cup on June..

Assuming that you are watching on an HDTV conencted via HDMI cable and have set 4:3 video out put to stretch.

If your eyes are telling you that people look taller on HD it is most likely due to your eyes being trained from watching SD stretched on a wide screen TV. Your brain has tricked itself into thinking that these seemingly taller looking people don't appear as normal when infact they are correct and the short stubby images on an SD screen that is stretched to fill a wide screen TV is actually the wrong aspect ratio.

Try to look at the ball when camera zoom into it. If you notice it's in perfect round shape, your aspect ratio should be ok. But if you notice it's in ellipse shape, that's mean something wrong with aspect ratio. You'll hardly notice when the ball is so small

DETV: http://www.detv.com.my/

Providing IPTV long before TM is providing IPTV.
Although, their programming all China/Taiwan channel. Most likely their target customer is Chinese expats and those who live in China for long time and then come back to Malaysia.

Also, makes me wonder why their IPTV can work through any and all ISPs while TM's can only work with HSBB and not Stimix.
