my astro byond was installed this morning

AWESOME is the word to describe this service

although we are in V3 of this topic, i hope TS can make adjustment to the title as currently our AB (astro byond) software version is 1.0 and TS title of Astro B.yond 3.0 will create some misunderstanding to forumers. pls adment it to Astro B.yond V3 Thread should better reflect the whole meaning

wat are the prpb tat surfaced so far??

wat abt blue HD, if astro will sell them to some selected few

frankly, i am not a fan of hardcore but unrated and category 3 should be okay, like our neighbour down south.

and infuture the current "old" sets too will be sim locked
so we cannot move our smart card as we wish , like 0ne card to view at many different locations

abt the Digital RCA tat is available in the Byond decorder, wat kind of cable should i look for and any pic of the cable?
is it only for 5.1 system?

btw, my signal on this Byond set is 206 and quality is 100%..... wat are you guys readings?

my setup includes both HDMI and composite RCA as RCA channels gives better audio

btw, is the soccer match between Arsenal vs Liverpool in HD??

tat i am not sure as both my HDMI and composite are connected to my LCD at the same time. Most of the time i am using HDMI input to view Astro but the sound is "flat" whereas on composite its more lively. i intend to purchase a 5.1 system to connect via the DIGITAL RCA output of the Byond

meaning it can output to 2 different displays at the same time?

will it fry the Byond?

additionally used the av-rf converter to connect down to my SD (i had a another spare coaxial pulled during reno) downstairs. works like a charm. then i had a spare programmable remote (sony receiver)...programmed it with the byond remote....works like a charm.
