hi guys, im driving a 2011 sentra N16 1.6A...fuel consumption is about 9.5-10km/L for 70% highway and 30% city driving...average speed is 110km/h on highway and about 60km/h city. is this considered good?
im have change rims from 14" to 15"

any idea is it that low and if i can sell higher, how much you think i can sell? would it be a better idea to sell myself?

Change to Cefiro Platinum plugs, can last 100k km + smoother engine
power steering fluid 2 change every 20k km

Fully stock car. Need some expert advice how to improve performance. Pls giv me a list of wat to change/do.

So
Normal Engine Oil = every 5K
Power Steering Oil= every 30k
Gear Box auto oil = every 30k
Coolant and brake fluid =every 40k
spark plugs platimum = every 100,000k
Ventilation air filter = every ?
limited-slip defferential (LSD) gear oil = every ?

what is the different between Ventilation air filter & air cleaner filter?

Is it safe to switch from regular oil to full synthetic oil at 80k miles for n16 1.8A?

I'm just married, and planning to buy my first car.. since a lot of commitment, I restricted myself to look only for 2nd hand car.. earlier, I planned to buy a 2nd hand waja, the cps version.. later, in Mudah, I saw some Sentra 1.6 auto 2003-2004, the price ranged from 30K-40K, which I think is affordable to me..

my questions are :
1) Are these models of Sentra reliable?? Any major issue (power windows, engine leakage, etc)??
2) How much is the maintenance?? Some people said Nissan's spareparts quite cheap compared to T and H
3) Compared to Waja CPS, is it much better choice if I buy a 2003-2004 Sentra even though older models compared to Waja??

How much is it for starter relay/starter solenoid/starter motor for GA16DE? My car got "click" sound. Suspect must be the starter problem.

1) Yes they are reliable but i find that the 1.8 somehow is better in terms of performance ( of course) , FC and noise insulation. The steering feel is also different from a 1.6

2) cheap. never had any expensive spare parts replacements before

3) no comparison - the noise level, comfort and power is just so much worse in waja. dont bother with the waja mate.

Brought a new Sentra this year....However, I didn't understand why it doesn't come with fog light ~ Since Jan 2012 till now, one of the fog light cover been missing 2 times. Now, I am thinking to install a fog light on it. The Nissan central qoute me RM1k plus !!! Any recommend good quallity fog light suit for IMPUL edition ? Thanks..

Last time i need to go to spare part shop to order taiwan made fog lamp when the ori one break by the cone in the middle of bending at NS highway. I remember 1 light cost me ~rm150.

Added on August 9, 2012, 10:26 amI'm very happy that i manage to solve the problem of the brake calliper rattling noise (n16) that has been haunting my car so long. I asked my mechanic to apply silicon (gasket grade) to make the hole smaller, to close up the gap between the calliper and pin, then the noise is gone. Read this method from internet. Anyway, the mechanic says the calliper might be trapped and unable to retract... anyway, 1st day try out no issue, hopefully the mechanic is smart enough to reserve enough freeplay room.

Currently changing suspension to nismo-s-tune. Hopefully it will not be too lowered until scratching the hump.

My n16 is clocking > 250k km, though not very fuel efficient car to run with, holding it for sentimental value. Future tweak might be the un-chip (to be more fuel efficient). Hopefully it can serve me till 500k km...
