Yep...it's database is in the internet.

Not to say super accurate..at least for us asian voice, its not as accurate as those american voice..but i can say one of the best.

Had a blackberry..its TTS...sucks

just got the epikcase and the screen protector from AskarPerang.

the screen protector will act as back up for my invisibleshield..
while the epikcase i'll use it whenever i need extra protection let say if i'm doing outdoor activity..

One more problem which I discovered lately.
There is no "Regulatory Domain" option in Wi-Fi advanced settings. I need it because, I want to use channel 12. The default N1 only can use up to channel 11 because of US regulation. The Regulatory Domain options can make the N1 able to use up to channel 14. This option is exist in ERD79, and missin in ERE27 (update1)

bahathir, nice catch! I just realized it too. ERE27 has removed beyond channel 11 already. What I know is, US is very strict with wireless signals waves. That is why any gadget that we use which has wireless connectivity will definitely have its special cert somewhere on the device.

THese waves are invisible, but they can be very hazardous to us with improper use. If its faulty, we won't even know coz we can't see them

my feedback is i can say the quality is on par with my blackberry's soft jacket. but at rm15, i cant say how long this
thing will last. even though i dun see any reason why it should not have same reliability as the capdase.

and for rm15, i dun think i could spend my money better than buying this case.

One of my buyers said current call will be cut off whenever there is incoming call. Anyone having the same problem? Is there any setting that I should advice him to change?

i just tried the scenario, and didnt encounter any problem with call waiting / swapping call.. maybe just check at settings > call settings > additional settings

I got the epikcase and SPs an hour ago.

Epikcase Resin Frosted series. Grey:
1) The grey color really match the N1 color.
2) This case has combination of 2 colour, frosted grey and tranparent/clear grey.
3) The clear grey matched the metal part of the N1
4) This also make my engraving to be visible.
5) Aha, I pull out the Nexus One wording. It is just a rubber/resin sticker glued to case.
6) By removing the wording, the htc wording on the N1's back, can be seen.
7) The case fit tightly to the N1 and feel solid
8) The best thing about the case, is, it prevent my palm from being touched to the edge of touch screen. This minimized the touch registering errors. So I use my N1 with one hand comfortably.
9) The back site of the case has similar feeling/texture as the N1's back, but, more grippier, which enhance the confident when holding it..
10) All the ports are precisely aligned and accessible.
11) The case make the N1 a bit thicker and it is hard to put it in the original pouch.So, this is the only negative thing about the case, if you still wan to use the pouch.



Ultra clear screen protector.
1) N1 touchscreen is scratch resistance, and no screen protector is needed.
2) But, it feels tacky/sticky when my fingers are moistured and clean. Similar feeling when you touch a very clean glass/window.
3) The clear screen protector able to give much better glide motion to my fingers.
4) I am not good in putting the SP to the screen, and at the end, there are several small dust trapped, but, managed to get rid most of it.
5) THis just clear SP, and it is CLEAR, like no SP being attached to the screen.
6) It provides better gliding action, and I'll use it for a while.


Matte SP.
1) Ok, actually, I put this one first.
2) Yeah, the image is a biit fussy, with acceptable image sharpness and color contrast
3) The matte is best for gliding action. Very smooth.
4) Less glare and almos no finger print can be found.
5) I keep it as a spare.


IMHO, the price which I think very reasonable, the products are very good. High cost performance. Recommended, because, it is difficult to find SP and cases for N1 in lowyat plaza.

So now i knew why sometime when i touch my N1, it give different reaction. So cant use the touch screen when side of ur palm touching side of screen?
However sometime i noticed side of metal part also cause the same problem, anyone have same problem too??

I like the pouch, so maybe not planning buying the epicase. Ordering the clear SP though
