QUOTE(irenic @ Apr 14 2010, 05:58 AM) Shahz, the license for the titanium backup is attached to a device or to a user? i mean if let say we change from one device to another android, can we used the same cd key? Yes, you can use the same license on a new phone. No re-purchase required Its forever free for you guys already..

Getting Started

QUOTE(adrive @ Apr 14 2010, 09:06 PM) hey guys..a little out of topic here...what SP do you guys use?? clear or matte type?? i love clear type..but it's been a fingerprint crazy months for me..dunno whether i shud get the matte i was using the clear type for two days, but then wiping fingerprints got very annoying so i switched to the matte sp, it makes the image quality poorer and may seem a little grainy, a small trade-off to me not having to wipe fingerprints/smudges every 5 minutes

I gave up using screen protector and the Nexus One screen is pretty good, doesn't get scratched easily Btw, do you guys notice the Nexus One network reception is quite weak? It looks like in some areas with low signal strength, it loses reception totally while phones like Nokia, Iphone, etc would still have a bar at least.

guys , how many ROM is available to install apps when you first received your nexus ? I've read somewhere in android community . They mention you only have 100mb to install apps , other 4xx mb cant be use and reserved by something else . So they recommend apps to SD , to let you install in ur SD card . I dont want to root my phone as it will void the warranty , probabbly I might root it after the warranty expired .
So is that true ? you only have 100mb to install apps when u first received ur N1 ? if it is not 100mb , then many MB you have ? thanks

Maybe around 150MB or more, but surely less than 200MB. I not so sure, sorry. I root my phone in 2nd day after using it and Apps2SD is a must for installing a lot of apps. By using Apps2SD and partition it to 512MB (only 457MB available) as SD-Ext. After installing of 120++ apps , I still left 183MB of SD-Ext and my internal RAM still free of 100MB.

Posting this message from ktm komuter traveling at 80 km/h. Outdoor reception quite good. Watched YouTube streaming some more.
I have to admit the indoor reception just so so. But still usable.

I just do a clean install. Factory reset and wipe all.
Total available RAM space is 192MB (I am using Cyanogen 5.0.6-N1-test3 ROM)

A quick question. Im looking for an app that will allow me to turn off the screen and lock, with an icon press. Don't like pressing the power button for this purpose.
