My 1st Android Nexus One - Small Review
Pros- Solid build, definately nicer than what you seen on net.
- Stunning AMOLED screen (as stunning as OMNIA II with 16M color support)
- Smooth Effect overall.
- Multi-task is great, I can open more than 10 apps in background. (Not like my Omnia II, keep shutting down my apps)
- Extremely speedy during surfing internet, the best web browser so far I use before, it is definately better than iPhone 3Gs. (Base on my friend iPhone 3Gs)
- Good picture quality, the auto focus is working well even on macro shot.
- Actrative Photo browser.
- A lot of useful Free Apps.
- Great Multi-touch, as smooth as iPhone.
- Great GPS, I can even get location indoor. (This is dream in OMNIA II)
- Simplicity but functioning well SMS/MMS apps.
Cons- Sometimes a slight jerk effect will happen when lots of apps running in background.
- No way to re-arrange Menu icon, it sort automatically via alphabetical order. (Maybe I not finding yet)
- Music player is simple and not attractive.
- Total apps not as many as iPhone, cannot purchase apps if you are not in US, UK, SG and HK. (unless you root it with custom ROM)
- No video calling (but is ok for me since I never use)
- No Outlook sync (I can't believe this feature is excluded as free, currently I found one too expensive, troublesome and not worth to buy)
- Standard charger is for US market. (but can use converter, and so happy is my OMNIA II charger can use on it as it is standard microUSB port)
Fix/New Feature after apply build ERE27 updates- 3G signal is stable and no issue.
- Multi-touch feature.
Wish- Add-on Outlook sync.
- High quality games like iPhone (I know it is capable just less developer at the moment)
- FM Radio (read someway it actually got hardware support but due to software issue)
- Touch to focus during capture photo.
