Hi guys, i just got my N1 last weekend, and i've been playing with it ever since, hehe
I do have some questions, though

I can't seem to get my maxis 3G to work, even thought i've set the APN the same as what shahz showed, the 3G icon shows, and the uploading "arrow" will be lighted, but the download one just doesn't do anything

And also, will any of the original functions be lost if i were to root it? I've heard my friend saying she lost the auto-complete for text input after she rooted her magic

Apparently maxis sort of de-activated my 3g before re-activating it after i added a data plan into my existing plan, weird.

Now i've got my mind set on rooting my N1, as soon as my finals are over. Thanks again!

i was using the clear type for two days, but then wiping fingerprints got very annoying
so i switched to the matte sp,
it makes the image quality poorer and may seem a little grainy, a small trade-off to me not having to wipe fingerprints/smudges every 5 minutes
