guys ... did you all download CM apps (auto update) from the market ? I downlaoded and telling me CM got new update with is 5.5, currently using 5.4, so shd I proceed with the update ?

Guys~ i have a issue here~
this is my 1st time connect my N1 to my laptop with the microUSB cable provided~ but i cant find the photos captured in any folders~ anyone know where the photos located and how to retrieved them?

Did you mount your usb to ur pc? Pull the notification thingy and mount it. Your pc should be able to detect your phone.

yeah~ problem solved~ i found the folder name "IMDC" or "DCIM" ~ thats where the photos stored~
Have some issue with the stupid USB cable~ first time success to connected and direct can view the files~ 2nd and 3rd times my N1 keep ask me to "mount or unmount" but cant view the memory card even after i pressed the "Mount" ~ Last time success to get back into folder because i unplug the whole cable from the laptop and then reconnect it after 20s like that~ this time success again~ faint~ (^^)

shahz, are u using app2sd? becoz with cm5.0.5.2 my app2sd doesnt seems to work. i already updated to recovery 1.7.0 also not working..

i miss the desire's rom.. too bad the bluetooth is unreliable..

1st time flashing rom, but i did wipe the data and tried many times already, but after that i tried desire rom which is working fine, i wonder what is the cause?

Irenic, I just finished downloading the stuff. Yet to flash it. I'll update soon. But for you, here is what I suggest.

Apparently, CM has implemented a new way of using Apps2SD and its getting lots of positive reviews. So much that a custom recovery was made for it. Hence, its almost like reorganizing everything in a different way. Hence, its recommended that you start everything once from the ground base. Next time, you will not need it again. Here is what I suggest you to do.

1. Do a Titanium Backup. Seriously, if you have not yet get the donate version, get it ASAP! This is a life savior in many instances. I might have a special deal for you guys on this later. Still in discussion though.

2. Second, do a nandroid backup.

3. Move everything from your SD card to your computer.

4. Clean wipe your SD card. Reformat it, remake the partitions, optimize it for ext4, plan properly how much space you need for your apps. If you have 8GB, keep 1GB. You will not regret. Although 512MB is more than enough, but you don't want to run out of space when you have hundreds of apps in the future

5. Flash the new recovery if you have not done that yet (this does not apply to you irenic)

6. Flash the radio if you have not yet done.

7. Flash the CM rom.

8. Load up the phone, once you are in, move back all the data from the computer to your phone.

9. Install all your apps from the Titanium backup.

10. Go to the market, for ALL the apps that you have, go into them one by one, uninstall it, reinstall it, move to the next one. All your apps will be moved to SD card. Those that you don't uninstall and reinstall, will remain in your phone memory.


Please note, before anyone say anything about this method, bear in mind, this is a method for EVERYONE. A fail-proof method which will definitely work. If you want to avoid ANY problems, just follow these and you will be just fine.

Guys~ i taking care my N1 so well since i got it.. But today.. i noticed that there are black ink at the corner (just on the plastic near the metal part) of the phone.. where all this black ink came from?? the original given pouch??? OMG~~ somemore the black ink cant be removed ~~!! cry~~
Anyone any idea to clean all this black ink?

I managed to somehow clear all SU permissions so now when I load up any app requiring SU access it loads SU Request but that just forces close.

I have tried downloading it from the market but that just crashed the phone and causes it to reboot (as it is installing an app that is already installed?) and because my SU Whitelist was automatically installed with JF it isn't easy to uninstall.

Any advice? Could I somehow uninstall it and install the market version?
