Well guys these is the casing which m currently using the photos shows the back front and also added the photo of me squeezing the casing as its not the hard kind but more like the resin kind.

front

back

squeezing

Now with casing on it does strecth the pouch a lil but not to loose...at first I thought it won't fit but with a lil effort its in there. The casing also provides more grip When handling the phone as well prevents ur thumb from touching the sides of the screen while operating ur phone with the other.

Where to get this funky design casing...got it from of the forumer or u can get it in eBay as well.

Hope this help for those who are looking to get a casing. And those photos are shot with the nexus one as well

Well I tried that twice before, both times didn't work. Anyway Thank God, I just turned off my phone for a few hours, turned it on again and now everything's back to normal. Thanks for suggestions guys.

Hi all gurus/sifus : I just finished rooting my Nexus. Played with it only a day and decided to root it as need to expand the possibilities of usage. Spend about 20 minutes getting it right as the USB drivers for Win7 were problematic. However mangaed to have it done.
Now I wish to change the rom to Cyanogen.

How do I go about this steps:

6. Copy the ROM .zip file to your phone’s SD card then unplug the phone.

7. Click USB MS Toggle.

8. Click Apply .zip from SD Card and then select the ROM you just copied.

I have copy the whole zip file "update-cm-5.0.4.1-N1-signed" into the SD card - did this manually.

Where can I access the "USB MS Toggle " ?

Thanks for any help/assistance

=================================================
update : finally saw it at menu listing ; must be "blind" that moment

WOW ! Successfully root and have new rom installed - time to download apps to "refine" the unit further

i tried swype, but didnt get used to it.

i'm using HTC_IME at the moment, better than stock keyboard IMHO.

But it doesnt incorporate chinese input, have to switch to Google_pinyin.

btw enlothien, lol i called DiGi, the dude said will reset my line for me, ask me wait 10 minutes then restart phone. i did the exact thing, wait for like 1 hour restart again, still the same thing LOL..

i manage to get at least 2 bars of 3G outside my office, but the moment i step in the building, not more than 3 steps, my line drop to Edge.
Then i called DiGi again, the dude said sorry sir no indoor coverage for your area. (apparently they have indoor and outdoor coverage, which is unheard of.. at least to me)

i'm having a hard time holding back not to switch to maxis. damn lol, and they're having a road show booth in my office right now!

For those can't find USB driver who are using Windows Vista or 7, you can visit the following site for more info:

http://developer.android.com/sdk/win-usb.html

I'm using Windows 7 and inititially having problem with the USB driver too.....then I installed the USB driver package by using the SDK tool....

I think this must have been answer many times already.......the Cyanogen ROM itself doesn't install Google default apps and you'll need to flash the add-on which can be found from XDA forum too.......

I faced this problem b4.......it'll take longed time to boot for the first time (some might take up to 5 ~ 10min).....just wait patiently. If not (it was my case), you'll need to go into recovery mode, wipe everything and then flash the ROM again.....

Added on March 8, 2010, 3:59 pmHi All, I just wonder has anyone here try the UV and OC kernel which can be found from the XDA forum.

Some said that with the above, your phone actually work beyond the manufacturer spec and is no good for the phone.

I personally had tried the above but has not really see any obvious improvement, then I reverted to the original kernel (well, afraid it might harm my phone and since it doesn't really help).

Do you guys think that the UV can actually help to save battery? And the OC actually improve the phone performance? Even I couldn't notice any improvement over my phone but still would like to hear some opinions from people here who had tried it :-)

Can't quite put my finger on why but Swype is the first alternative keyboard that I've used for an extended period of time. Had tried ShapeWriter, SlideIT etc. previously but kept going back to the stock keyboard after less than a day. Somehow Swype just feels more usable and faster.
