There is actually one more method of memory management which lets the Android kill apps that hogs background memory without using the TasKiller. I did it once and it was really awesome. Problem is, I change my ROM all the time so it has to be re-done all the time. I think someone actually posted a link of it somewhere in this thread. But its going to be a long search if you guys want to find out coz it's a link to another forum smile.gif Or, you can search on xda / modaco..Dang, I really need to recompile all of these tips etc.

Shahz, are you talking about AutoKiller?

U mean under bright light for example when the sum is shining. If that's the case u can turn the backlight on....the phone screen function brilliantly on doors as I can admire the nexus amoled display

Haha..when you have root you have endless possiilities..There no one thing that root can't do which unroot phone can..You can do a nandroid backup of the original ROM you have, use a CMR, go back to the custom ROM, or install the original ROM anytime (downloads can be provided). But if you have root, seriously, custom ROM will wow you even more smile.gif But like I said, when you have root, you have endless possibilities..Only be patient when you do your stuff smile.gif

Okay, first of all, look through the Hero tutorial which is a sticky post of my guide..There will be SDK installation..You need that first to run anything related to rooting and flashing process..After that, just follow the steps I've included on this thread for Nexus One smile.gif

Updates to the community project, I'm thinking, instead we have our own wiki for Malaysian Androiders..We can have all APN lists, rooting guides, basic rooting guides, specific model rooting addition steps, etc etc..But I need a very huge support for this if I want to go with it..Because newer phones will be coming out soon and we will need to play with them..And of maybe we will have to make it ads and donations driven to maintain it (buying new phones etc for testing)..
We can even include reviews..Its still not too late as there are still not that many Android phones yet in the market..If we want to do, we have to do it really fast..

is it mean that only for rooter... how about non rooter to join...eg..like me tongue.gif

It works pretty perfect in Bright light, but not dim/dark conditions,i mean when the light is off.or it was my fingers who doesnt press it accurately.but when i turn on the light,it seems like working perfectly,i wonder if this has something 2 do with the presence of lights .

Hi, any idea how come I can't install market enabler.
I follow the instruction and download the file (http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/1211665), it's a html file, I open it in my nexus (with 3G connection on of course) and it just show Webpage not found? How come it isn't an .apk file but a html?

What's wrong? I already root my phone.

Are u talking bout the dude with the video on u
YouTube where he is showing that the multi touch of the ne us one is not accurate?

If yea don't be alarm I have been using the Nexus one for about a week now with the latest update and I can assure u that there's nothing to be worried about.

The Nexus one provides a whole new experience when it comes to...hmmm...the gurus correct me if m wrong here...mobile computing.

The amoled display is simply rich in color filled with depth and the large screen display is fantastic.

The heart of the phone is the 1g snapdragon which is simply fantastic. The phone is fast super fast.

After one week m still discovering my new found appreciation for this fine sexy beast. I will never look back.

By the way m typing and posting this on my nexus.
