hello guys i just brought my HD2 2 days ago now i have encounter prob while log in to facebook by using opera browser and also Internet Explorer Browser..

Do your guys encounter this prob before?

Hi, was wondering is there anyway to only maintain HSDPA data connection? cause at times at diff place, my data connection do fluctuate,ranging from GPRS to EDGE or 3G,instead of HSDPA,any help would be much appreciated =)

nope...no way to fix on the HSDPA i think...

all depends on location and coverage by your service provider...

since i only use my hd2 for internet (no phone call - using celcom broadband), i go to setting>wireless controls>phone>band and set the setting to "WCDMA" instead of "auto". This will enable me to lock into 3g/HSDPA only but I m not sure it still can use for call or not. You can try it out.

I can't Log in after typing the username and password correctly the browser show me typo error on password and email and it is not match..but after i restart everything back to normal..=="

Yea, the signal will drop from HSDPA/3G to Edge/GPRS when HSDPA/3G signal is not available or weak. Especially when making calls at weak area, it will drop to Edge/GPRS. Browsing internet with the signal jumping between HSDPA/3G and Edge/GPRS will drain more battery. In fact, the phone felt warmer. Or you can try install this, see tip 60. At area with weak HSDPA signal, just disable the 3G and stay at Edge. Prolong battery life too.

I think you will experience call drops when signal is weak, phone is also warmer, and battery drain really fast.

Happen to me first time also. Even on my previous HD. After that, no problem login anymore. Never bother to remember it until you mention. Weird.

Very good idea ; I will definately attend - any day is fine with me ( cos I am retiree so time is flexible ). We can share tips and see how far we have modified our phones ( meaning rom ) and also the extent of interface modifications done. Suggest also open to other WM users - eg HD, Tp2 etc etc

pardon my ignorance, but what is SOFT RESET and what is HARD RESET?

and i'm also interested in the capacitive stylus.

If compare to computer Windows,

SOFT RESET = REBOOT/RESTART COMPUTER
HARD RESET = REFORMAT

how do you do soft reset and hard reset on an HD2?

reformat or system restore ?

...and i just got the HD2 with that option in mind. but i'm sure HTC will think of something (or some genius out there will cook something up).
