Latest patch (LEO08007) gave me problems with facebook linking my friends. Most obvious is when opening facebook albums directly from friends will cause error to Manila. Only way to get rid of this patch is a hard reset...

QUOTE(Aurora @ Jan 29 2010, 07:04 PM) Note: This update is only applicable to ROM version is less than 1.66.XXX.X. <-- Copy from HTC website. Yeah, I want one too So it's not applicable for 1.66 rom. Wonder if those that already install the previous hotfix, still need this or not? I like this one. Thinking of getting one from them. About RM 21-22, excluding delivery. Anyone interested (to create a bulk for this)? ![]() QUOTE(DrWho @ Jan 29 2010, 06:27 PM) I tried to restore Complete System plus programs using Sprite Backup after I flashed to 1.66 but failed. I tried to restore complete system backup using Sprite backup after I SSPL with Topix 1.1.2, but after restore, unable to boot up my phone. probably software conflict... End up only able to restore my contacts and messages successfully... after that reverted back to 1.48, due to lack of Chinese support in cooked ROMs... Wonder if anybody on XDA is cooking up ROMs based on the new 1.66 Asian ROM..? Tried to backup complete system plus programs using SpriteBackup in 1.66 and it failed however I managed to backup and restored the complete system plus programs using SPB Backup. I will be using both for backup in future. 1.66 has given me to much issues and I am now back on 1.42, which has not been a problem at all. 1.42 was fully restored by SpriteBackup. Anybody else can comment on how the new 1.66 is working for them? Planning to upgrade soon... |

Dudes, check out the Bravo.
QUOTE(frankgan @ Feb 16 2010, 01:23 AM) finally windows Phone 7 series has been released. I'll consider testing it out when it's released... As an alternative to Garmin, perhaps Google Maps with Navigator will be out by then eh? I've seen it working on a Nexus One before... real sleek But it wasnt as exciting as what I thought By the way, no backward compatibility is so suxky, how long we have to wait until the next usable garmin is released? Anyway, Will HD2 gets the update? If its released, will y'all update to windows 7? QUOTE(FrostLance @ Feb 16 2010, 01:35 AM) lol..there will be no more garmin. it stop production in april coz of garmin nuviphone. Hi, i just put in "TOUCH X-TREME" into my HD2, after trying out Chucky, which didn't suit me very well. Just wanted to ask sifus' out there some seemingly noobie questions, and hope you'll help me out a bit here...
1) phone number format. usually us malaysians save phone numbers without our country code i.e. 016*******, but tested out a few custom ROMs, the number +6016******* would come out, and not the person's contact name I already saved. Yeah, I can just change all my contact numbers with the country code, but if i wanna dial the number and expect the list to be filtered as i type, I'd have to use country codes too. Any workaround this? Doesn't seem to be a problem with stock ROM. 2) I used my Sprite backup from 1.66 stock ROM, and restored contacts on this ROM, but my contact list facebook links are all gone... could this be because of slightly different platform (WinMo 6.5 -> WinMo 6.5.5)? Anybody else have this problem, or a solution? Thanks!! |
