Hate to point this out (especially on first page of V2), but someone from the other side of the world is experiencing this sweat.gif sweat.gif :

Anyway, after going through the whole thread (and link to other threads), seems like it occurred due to excessive force, rapid ambient temperature change, screen protector. Could be a manufacturing defect, or could be due to its large screen size, it has higher tendency of occurrence.

IIRC, capacity screen is glass type, and by touch alone (without pressing), the screen will pick-up our finger gesture, right? And so, the screen isn't suppose to have any sign of softness and tenderness if we press it, unlike resistivity. I remember iphone capacity touchscreen as solid, not tender. blink.gif

Wah, free printer... Nice. Planning to get mine, so I'm hunting for good bargain. Mind to share your package?

About the screen defect, I guess it's sort of an wake-up call, do get original set from local distributor. nod.gif (Maybe baronic can put in the his PDA guide)

When I was on my Touch HD, my battery could last me like 2+ hrs. HD2 should be able to last at least 1.5+ hrs right?

Hi fellas,

I just bought my phone, joining the big family. laugh.gif

Aurora/RM2699/Sky Premier Enterprise/15-Jan-10/1.48.707.2(71294)WWE

Moving from Touch HD, HD2 has a lot of improvement over HD, very sensitive to touch and speedy. But the touch isn't that accurate (perhaps I'm still not use to it), I miss the stylus on HD already. Few things that bother me a lot, is the lack of haptic feedback in Opera, not knowing if I have 'click' on the link or not (going to install BSB tweak).

Guys, should I install the hotfix immediately? For the SMS fix, do I need to install both, or just the 2nd one will do? So far, I haven't had any sms problem yet.

It's quite a coincidence for me actually. I just changed from Maxis to Digi. Previously a Digi user, change to Maxis because I want to try Maxis 3G. Long story short, Maxis disappoint me, give me lousy reason for my problem.

Thanks. I don't have any sms issue, except for the lag-loading. The second patch is dedicated for this purpose right?

You can always do a hard reset to remove the fix. laugh.gif Btw, the sample picture, music and video, will it still be there after a hard reset, or disappear? blink.gif

Yea, I just try the delivery report. It can be enable via message -> all message -> menu -> settings -> options.

But the delivery report will appear as message, instead of bubble talk.

I think you should at least state the usage of the tweak?  blush.gif

I have been using HD Tweak on my HD last time. It has slightly more tweak than BsB, like extra camera mode, windows mobile cache setting etc.

Damn, now I have to perform a hard reset because it crash. Some report that this is due to software conflict with BsB..

My HD2 boot up pass boot screen, then wait for Sense UI but never launch. It shows a message "Tap here to launch Sense UI", tap but nothing happen. Start-up menu icon is not clickable, so I can't uninstall it.

Btw, I saw a few selection of task manager for HD2, anyone using it, and which one are you guys using?

HD2 hard reset seems to take longer time than HD. I think I just live with BsB tweak, cause a lot people using it. At least there will be less conflict if i change other setting.
