pardon my ignorance, but what is SOFT RESET and what is HARD RESET?

i'm still using winxp on my desktop although win7 is out.
so, winmo 6.5 instead of winmo 7 on my hd2 is no biggie.

guys, need opinion. noob here. what apps do you usually install on your HD2? i have zero apps currently.

thanks Rishy. but there's no option for incoming or outgoing mail server. just one box for "domain" and one box for "server". and a checkbox for SSL. that's it. that is why i'm so confused.

no it doesn't rishy. first it asked for the email address and the password, then when you click next, it asked for the domain and the server. and a check box to enable SSL. thats it.

i'm using celcom prepaid. no balance notification on mine. most probably its maxis' settings.

To all HD2 sifus. Need some help on these 2 matters:-

1. how to setup streamyx e-mail account on HD2? (yes i still dunno how. need to setup on pc then do active sync izzit?)

2. i copied all my Sim Numbers to the phone Contacts. in Phone function, i can select Contacts to be displayed instead of my Sim Numbers. but when in sms@Messages, both Contacts and Sim Numbers are displayed. any way to show only the Contacts? i can't find any way.

yeah, same here. i can't send or receive e-mail using the outlook account on the phone unless its connected with the pc using activesync. i had to create a separate account (add account>other), only then i can send/receive emails on the phone without being connected to the pc.

when we install the new opera 10, does it replace the old opera?

talking bout contacts, i can't get the phone to copy the 2nd phone number of my sim contacts. it will only copy one phone number per sim contact. anyway to go about it?

isn't there a switch for data connection in the settings>wireless connection, where you can turn it off? or is this a different setting? i'm confused.

-i think i have the 2nd number as office number already. my sim contacts have a mobile number, an office number and an e-mail address. but the phone will only copy the mobile number from the sim to the phone. and i can't sync the sim numbers to outlook. looks like i have to do it manually then?
