Guys, just want to check with you guys about the rom flashing side effect before i really go and flash a new rom.

If i backup all my system files with "sprite backup", can i restore every software i installed back to the same like the one i just used in old rom after i flash in the new rom? Or i have to install all the software 1 by 1 again after rom flashing.

Hi msia, just to confirm. Is your HD2 connected to the PC through the data sync connector? FYI, when our HD2 is sync with the PC, we wont be able to turn on the WiFi because we already connected to the internet through our data sync cable.

Hope this solves it, else please elaborate what kind of .cab that causes the problem

Is there any Multitouch-able games for HD2??

A good example which I have tried, Dutty v1.6 with 576 MB RAM is slower than Dutty V1.8a with 448 MB RAM. It is not essential that 576 MB RAM is faster.

Added on February 13, 2010, 1:55 pmIf you successfully restored your backup EVERYTHING will be restored including settings and programs. However when you change ROM you may not necessary restore successfully. For SpriteBackup you want to select Level 1 to restore.

I use both Sprite and SPB Backup to restore each time I flash. There is no hard and fast rule which one is better or which one will work. Sometime only SPB Backup will work, other time only Sprite Backup will work. That is why I use both

Is it possible to install software from marketplace into the storage card? because each time i install software from marketplace it'll install directly into the device storage.

You can use SKTools to move any program from your Device to the Storage Card.

why my hd2 alway pop out the error msg such as service.exe and device.exe ? wat happen le ? it is laggy .. everyday have to open the bak cover n soft reset it .. 1 day around 3 to 4 time .. need some advise..

Metal case? Better stay away from metal case, as i read somewhere not good for mobile phone... even in the user manual said "Use only original manufacturer-approved accessories, or accessories that do not contain any metal".. I dont know what is the effect...

I also use capdase, but not the metal one.. bought for RM55 including postage.

I have one Q ...Is there a way to create more profile in HD2 ?? I'm used to WINMO5 where u can have multiple profile for normal, outdoor, meeting, etc .... then all with different ringtone, volume, vibrate ...

you need to use third parties software like G-Profiler, PhoneWeaver and etc.

Easily resolved. Hard Reset will solve the problem. Hopefully you can still Backup and the System data are still good. Solution:backup with SPB Backup and or Sprite Backup. Hard Reset and restore all system and PIM data and the error message will disappear.

Or... you can uninstall one-by-one all softwares to see which triggers the problem. But, in the end, hard reset is the "best" overall solution.
