Hi All,

I remember i read in somewhere here that if we flash with a cooked ROM, it will void warranty. There are ways to reload back the HTC ROM & another thing that need to be reloaded so that "they" will not know that we've flashed with cooked ROM ??? What is that thing already ?? And how do we do backup for that ???

*** edit

I think i found it..its the SPL as per below;

http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=611433

http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=609477

but i have problem with this

4) Uninstallation
Only way to remove the HSPL is to flash an original SPL from SD card.
- Take any "RUU_signed.nbh" from a ship ROM and copy it to SD card.
- Rename it to "leoimg.nbh"
- Reset the device while pressing the volume down button.

Anyone can help ?? Or what is the best way to backup the original SPL ??

I don't think you can backup a SPL. You can restore a SPL from a shipped ROM by flashing it via SD card as above, ie the SPL is embedded in the ROM. Once you do that SIS will only see the shipped ROM and SPL, no trace of you crime!

thank you mr. who .. I'm downloading the "RUU_Leo_hTC_Asia_WWE_1.66.707.1_Radio_Signed_15.30.50.07U_2.06.51.07_Ship" as a backup as this ROM is the same as mine at the moment. I think after i tried using cooked ROM, i will do a test to revert back to original to give myself a peace of mind for playing with cooked ROM ... smile.gif

A simple and stable cooked ROM is usually better than a fancy looking one. wink.gif
You will find the cooked ROM to be better than the shipped. Why revert back to original ROM?

ohh, what i mean is i will test with cooked ROM, then try again to revert to see if its successful ... If its successful, then i will continue to play around with cooked ROM... haha ...1st time so need to try out to revert back to original after playing with cooked ROM ... tongue.gif

Maybe you can try updating quickgps??
*
QUOTE(lhongwuh @ Apr 9 2010, 01:21 PM)
even without updating QuickGPS, the lock speed should be less than 3minutes for HD2 notworthy.gif
my advice, do a soft reset n try again.
most of the time, that would solve the issue provided it's not hardware fault. nod.gif

just disable and enable back the GPS port.

Tried doing a soft reset but its still slow.. also tried disable and enable in garmin but still the same... Is there other place where we can disable and enable back the GPS port?
