QUOTE(DrWho @ Feb 12 2010, 09:09 AM) I assume you are familiar with using Registry Editor. Thanks a bundle, DrWho, What you are experiencing is similar to a few have experienced at XDA. Solution: Uninstall the cab, turn device off and turn on( Not soft reset), install cab, turn device off and on again. You should see registry now. I did 2 or 3 times and finally i can see those cookies registry entries now.... By the way, I have installed a phone conversation recorder, it automatically records all phone conversations... I need it because evry time when client tells me some details over the phone & then i need to search for pen & paper high & low... Now very convenient....recordings are purely for personal use only. However, this program is causing massive slowdown & drain lotsa battery... what a shame, otherwise , it's a great program!! This post has been edited by kkChan: Feb 12 2010, 09:11 PM |

Another leaked Radio 2.08.50.05 from XDA forum.
http://www.megaupload.com/?d=HUX1Q70V (Recommended) or http://uploading.com/files/4fm74616/LEOIMG.NBH/ BEFORE START, BACK-UP YOUR DATA! To install (at your risk! Plus void your 2-year warranty): 1) Install Hard SPL at http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=611433 2) Rename the file to "leoimg.nbh" 3) Copy it to SD card root directory 4) Shut down HD2. 5) Press-Hold "Volume Down" button + "Power On" Button THEN in 2 seconds release "Volume Down" Button. 5) Follow on-screen instruction. 6) Press reset button. Tested on my unit having 1.66 Base ROM. No issue so far. This post has been edited by dgtel2: Feb 12 2010, 11:05 PM |

@dgtel2
Thank you for the new Radio. I almost bricked my device, downloaded from the Rapidshare site and flashed with CustomRUU.exe and the flash failed. Flashing with another Radio did not help. Had to Hard Reset then flashed another Radio. Downloaded the Radio from Megaupload and successfully flashed, lost a few heartbeats in between! |

The CustomRRU method may not work SOMETIMES. That's why use SD Card method to be on the safe side.
Did you guys manage to get the 576MB RAM enabled with this new 2.08 Radio? Mine doesn't under 1.66 stock ROM. This post has been edited by dgtel2: Feb 12 2010, 11:07 PM |

XDA reporting a few corrupted file circulating. The one from Megaupload is OK.Did you guys managed to get the 576MB RAM enabled woth this new 2.08 Radio> Mine doesn't under stock 1.66 stock ROM. Yes. A few "guinea pig" users suffer the corrupted file issue.

hello guys,
I need some brave users, fellow Malaysians for trying out my public cooked ROM : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=629974 Anyone? To get 576MB RAM, OEMDrivers and OEMDriversHigh need to be at least from T-Mobile test ROM 2.02 and above. That's to say, it must be a customized ROM. My ROM has supports 576MB RAM. Does it make the phone running faster? --> Nope. For flashing customized ROM, I don't recommend putting it (LEOIMG.NBH) in SD Card. Instead, cook from ActiveSync is safer. CustomRUU doesn't cook SPL but if cooked from LEOIMG.NBH, who knows that NBH you have has a corrupted SPL or like T-Mo version's SPL 2.0x, then you may end up bricking your phone!! Instead, I only recommend to put the Official 1.48_Asia (or 1.66_Asia) Ruu_signed.nbh renamed to LEOIMG.NBH in the SD Card. This works like a fail safe. |

@maesus, congrats on your achievement. If you got the time, I'm still waiting for a chef to produce All-Black ROM.
All-Black will consume much less battery juice. Currently, when we create new SMS, the background is WHITE. The keyboard also WHITE. The Sense Settings layout/details also WHITE. All this WHITISH background (even the "HTC - Quietly Brilliant" boot image) will drain the 1230mAh significantly. And this also what iPhone unit problem as well. All-white theme kills the iPhone battery so fast! A good example will be Samsung Omnia II UI. "Almost" All-Black theme saves the battery (with the help of AMOLED screen too). Therefore, @maesus, grant my wish....LOL...TOTAL-BLACK Custom ROM This post has been edited by dgtel2: Feb 13 2010, 12:06 AM |

QUOTE(msia @ Feb 13 2010, 02:00 AM) Hi, probably due to the softwares you installed.anyone know why when i installed certain cab to my hd2, the wifi function become not functioning....meaning i could not tab on the wifi item on/off nor choose any preferred network...anyone experiencing this could help?? try removing those programs you installed / a hard reset see whether the problem resolved or not. If the wifi still not functioning after a hard reset (if you have no choice but to hard reset it), then send it for warranty ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- another reason is probably because you are synchronizing with your computer. If you're synchronizing, you could not connect to the wifi. The turn on / off wifi in communication manager will greyed out upon synchonization This post has been edited by frankgan: Feb 13 2010, 02:26 AM |
