the leather pouch will expand over time. i used to have problems getting out the phone from the pouch. one trick is to pinch from the bottom of the pouch. but after a while using it, i can just shake it upside down and the phone will slide out.

when i first got the phone, it last about half a day for me. but after using it a while the battery life last slightly longer. make sure to turn wifi off when not in use. i'm also using BSBTweak for battery preservation. i dont know if it actually helps

yes.. it is still running on WinMo 6.5

i have no issues with 1.66.. only some applications won't work with the new ROM. to be specific, Clean Ram and MemMaid are not usable with this ROM. it would hang right after i cleaned my RAM. others are working like a charm.

but 1.66 improved my battery life by 50 % i have to say.. i experienced a really bad battery life with the 1.48 ROM and was largely frustrated. now i don't have to worry about my battery life.

Some new HD2s come with 1.66 stock ROM as those are the newer batch. those old ones should be 1.48. but if you bought it from PDA Expert and it is 1.66, then i assume all the PDA Expert branches would come with 1.66 pre-installed. and whether PDA Expert provide ROM upgrade. i think they do and it is definitely free (only that some of them don't have the ROM and they have to download it from the official website first), you can request and i think they will do it for you.

1)Copy to memory card. u can put in any folders u like. u can even create a new one if u like.
2)yes.remove all unwanted programs. Else, just hard reset to get back manufacturer settings with nothg extra in it.

which speaker? rear? ... i dont hv that problem though ... try hard resetting it and if it still persist, try flashing the new rom

No problem for me. HD2 will switch to speaker mode if you put your phone screen facing down on a table. Are you lying down while chat?

HD2Tweak allows you to disable this feature.

PHMRegEdit should get you there.
CeRegEditor is a freeware which allows you to edit the registry via ActiveSync. It is much easier to use.

It is HD2Tweak not BsB. Since the problem happens when you roll, it is most probably triggered by the Accelerometer. At HD2Tweak deactivate the Accelerometer at 21.1. This will also disable all the other functions relying on the Accelerometer, which you may want functioning.

If deactivating the accelerometer does not solve the problem you may have to consider a hard reset.
