No problem for me. HD2 will switch to speaker mode if you put your phone screen facing down on a table. Are you lying down while chat?

i am lying at bed while chatting .. haha .. so this is the cause ?

To use the speakerphone
Placing your phone face down automatically turns on the
speakerphone. To turn the speakerphone off, place your phone
face up.

I don't know is there a registry hack which can turn off this feature, meantime do not roll on your bed while chatting... or while you roll make sure the phone face up

Went around Sban town looking for the HD2 today and after scouting many shops, i could not find a single one or even a SIS shop, let alone any authorised HTC retailers, everyone in this town only knows how to sell Nokia, SE and Samsung...

Then i decided to drive to SenQ and all i could find was Touch 2, Hero but no HD2

Guess it's just higher powers telling me maybe it's not time yet to get this baby.

u have to drive down to KL i guess. there are no shops selling it here in ipoh too.. there's one selling at 2899 retail price...

iPhone 4G my ass.. theres no damn way can u compare the functionality of WinMO over the iphone OS. is just not productive at all. More like a toy. Power Users stick with WinMO,
i dont get it why nowadays ppl rate User-experience and fancy UIs over functionality. crappy.

hahaha, yes i guess so, next place would be Midvalley but i can only find the time probably end of this month, if not then it'll be April for me. Working on every weekend in March

Will update when i finally get it. Watched the videos, read the reviews and this thread, now need to discipline myself and see when i can find time to go to Midvalley

This, i'm totally over it, if it's going to happen. But not sure though if garmin/papago would want to enter android market. I see a lot of other s/w developers have yet to enter the market.

The whole street is filled with iphone user, even accessories for iphone have surpass nokia. Apple put too much constraint on their os. Power user will definitely stick to winmo. I believe most iphone users are looking for a reason to jump ship, usable gps s/w and multitask!

Speaking of which, I'm listening to music while typing this. A while ago was replying text sms, without having to quit my browser, with half of the post above. Occasionally quit to main screen to change songs tracks. Basic day-to-day multitask.

I'm also using my hd2 as broadband modem:)

Ouucchhh... careful not to fry the motherboard....

This report will convince developers to kick-start pushing products to support Android. WinMo is "dying" slowly unless WinMo7 does magic just like Symbian (Symbian is open-source now....)

why? No problem so far... got 2 yrs sis warranty mah just hv to make sure the signal is fullbar, else it will switch between hsdpa and edge, which will make the phone warmer. usb current is only 500ma.
