If the Maxis price is true, by using today's currency conversion rate, the richer the country, the cheaper they get it Or should I say the richer the country, the lesser their government tax. But I would buy in Malaysia just for the warranty.

im rather disappointed at the maxis warranty for iphone, i bought my iphone 3gs white it was fine when i got it check everything then bout 3 days later i notice some crack on the backplate (didnt sit on the phone or drop it doesnt even have a scratch on it) it was from the inside....

took it down to maxis first person i talk to insist she doesnt c it.......... 2nd person says o u should have checked when u got the phone, and when i talk to their branch manager he said the iphone warranty only covers the screen defects and nothing else....... we can send it in for repair which cost 700 ringgits

now i bought a sg iphone4 cause it wont actually make much of a defference in terms of warranty anyways imo.

Also, Maxis has stated they will give 24 months warranty to those who's signing on a 24 month contract.

cuz some ppl cannot afford a new iphone every year? juz because iphone 5 (it wont be 4gs!) comes out doesnt mean every ip4 owner is going to get one

thx tinkerbel for pointing out the 2yr warranty. i missed that (didnt read the landing page, terus go to rate plans hahah). i never thought of getting the 2yr plan since i dun want to be tied for 2 years to a phone with 1 year warranty. if 2 years warranty, then it's a good deal!
