This thread seems like getting quite cold. Anyway people, I'm letting go my graphic card.

If any interested buyer, do PM me. Quite sad to let go my P4. cry.gif

P4 will still be kicking for the coming years. nod.gif

3.4GHz o/c to 3.9GHz..that's insane...I don't think a Northwood chip is able to do this. He is using an Intel board with GC build in,i wander how he made his o/c on board.

@ichigo_6091,do you have any print screen to share with us ?

3.4Ghz uses x17 multiplier
So basically its just a mild overclock of 30Mhz bump for FSB

230Mhz x 17 = 3900Mhz

See his CPUZ ler, if 1MB cache mah prescott lo

@shinjite,that's why i am asking if he is with Prescott or not. My Northwood stuck at 3.7GHz max.

Currently not thinking to change to any side yet, budget constraint. tongue.gif

Well seriously I'm bit reluctant to sell the parts, but due to P4 sc478 parts is very hard to get nowadays. So might as well I let go the parts I have to other potential buyers.

My P4 have serve me very well for the past 5years. smile.gif

Man! Sorry for the late reply. So do u mange to sell off all ur remaining P4 gears?

QUOTE(raymond5105 @ Apr 20 2010, 05:48 PM)
Yo,kahloon lost his P4 again......sad to hear this.....

@fylon,long time no hearing from you...how is your P4 rig bought in last time?Still using?

@\(^.^)/, 4.05GHz and 4.5GHz has a lot of different.  nelza's proc is able to go high but with some other ratio on the RAM there.

Yo Ray! Sorry for the very late reply. Extremely busy with my work.. Now then have some time to read back the old replies. Oh.. There no P4 left in my collection now. sad.gif Sad news isn't! Replaced the with Atom N280 due to space & heat constraint. Turning more into photography and home theater. My quaddies were under utilizing beside using it to process RAW to jpeg. sad.gif

@fylon,converting RAW files really need high CPU processing. I wander the quaddies could process the files faster compare to dual core ?

Oh yea. Depend on software that you are using. My highest record is 200 photo with quad @ 40+mins time. Processing 2 RAW at the same time. P/s: My system were on default speed. laugh.gif Edmin's one might faster then mine as he's got OC kaw kaw.

@fylon and edmin,i use my notebook dual core to process the raw files only so i wasn't sure with the quad core utilization on the softwares.

@shinjite,eying on the AMD hexa cores? thumbup.gif They are not that pricey though.

very true indeed fylon. looking at all the news and reviews of new stuff always so mouth-watering.
Most disappointing part is seeing the price, and then seeing how much that's in our pocket laugh.gif
