QUOTE(busyman @ Jan 7 2010, 09:37 PM)
haha..

okay..

so northwood or prescott better?

which 1 cooler?
*
Stock clock comparison, the northwood will win
Overclocking contest and overclocked results prescott will win, 1MB L2 cache will make the difference

But cons for prescott is the heat

Mine can use up to 3711 MB usable, hence the 3.62GB
Higher than the 3.2GB expected tongue.gif

This is not bad...But question is how are we going to use the RAM until 3GB there? I disable the virtual memory during gaming also cannot reach there.

Memtest for Windows, most of the RAM gone tongue.gif

If encoding, it depends on how big the output and resolution it will be
The bigger more RAM used up, same with video playback

@shinjite and ray,
yeah will probably suggest to him to switch browsers and see if there's any difference. gotta ask him to clean up his rig too smile.gif

@edmin,
you got it brand new? that amount could buy quite a decent 775 mobo already biggrin.gif

Google Chrome currently is the fastest browser and is not a memory hogger like Firefox

I have a question... What is the optimal CPU temperature of P4 3.0?

As per image, I used HWMonitor but it says there Diode 1, Diode 2 and Internal... Which one is actually my CPU's temperature?

Thanks in advance...smile.gif
