QUOTE(skylinelover @ Oct 31 2012, 10:45 PM) no port no problem...there's always PCI card add in port one mar.... Added on October 31, 2012, 11:11 pmQUOTE(raymond5105 @ Oct 31 2012, 10:27 PM) How much of RAM you are having with your P4? Disable virtual memory does help to boost the ssytem a bit. I am doing that on my system too. @Overclockalbert, i thought you have sold off your IC7 long time ago? Which CM PSU are you with? Do you o/c your prescott? my ram 2 x 1gb Gskill pc4000. unfortunately couldn't get myself a 2 x 2gb Gskill pc4000. it would've been a blast running win7 with few other programs in the background.myself also using CM PSU also...guess what 750W PSU true power......lolz...massive overkill for that system ....even got crossfire ready.. I have just replaced my PSU recently too. Old Acbel i-power was having serious voltage instabality cause my system cannot run well in o/c condition. 12V and 3.3V drops seriously while loading. Yeah, your CM750W psu is capable to handle SLI and Croesfire.

QUOTE(skylinelover @ Oct 31 2012, 10:45 PM) I'm very sure that my previous rig had a SATA port. The only problem is that it only supports SATA1 which limits the SSD speed to 150MB/s .My old rig was a P4 2.4C with a MSI board with a intel 865 chipset and it was running a 80GB Maxtor HDD with a SATA port. Guys, my ATI 2600XT failed me finally. My legendary P4 is now retiring officially. I have my P4 3.2GHz, Kingston RAM(2*1GB and 2*512MB)and mobo(Abit IC7-G) to let go cheap. Let me know if anyone is looking for spare parts for your P4 system.

Not sure if this thread still alive or not after seeing one post in 3 years. Anyways, here are my custom system which purchased on 2002/03, can't remember the exact timeframe.
CPU: P4 Northwood 1.8GHz with stock cooler Mobo: MSI PM8M-V RAM: 1GB DDR1 (512MBx2) GPU: ATI Radeon 9250 AGP 4x/8x PSU: Standard 300W
Planning to sell off cheap as well. I'll post at Garage Sales soon together with my other separate old PC components. If anyone interested can look there. Thanks.

Thread is still alive but I guess there are very few P4 users around as most of them shifted to another platforms. Is your rig still running now?
