a noisy photo is better than no photo at all

newbie here ...

planning to buy D5000 ~
do you think the D5000 price will be adjust again as the Canon 500D price will be coming down soon...

why i choose Nikon...
coz i like the color ~ is very saturated
Nikon also is an old band focus in the camera and lens ~

some say the 550D is better because it have the higher ISO and higg resolution HD video

but i think the camera is used for capture image not making film ~.~
and the D5000 price also acceptable for me.... and i'm new for the DSLR world ~ i think the user interface of D5000 much more easy to learn.

well ~ now i just wait and see
what action nikon will take after the opponent adjust the price.
if still no action .... i think i better action to buy it ~ lol

what is ur budget ?

bear in mind , d5000 dont have AF motor inside its body.

technically 550D is better cuz of the ISO control. but with canon menu n canon built, how to use... lol ;p

i oso got my D5000 last week & all i can say is dat im hepi wt it
oh ya, few days back, Tarita (LYP) offered me RM2350 for it - D5000 kit + 4gb SD + tripod + dslr bag but too bad i already bought mine.

No worries friend, you can convert the photo to B&W. Sometimes B&W with noise looks better than colour pics without noise :-)

tarita is famous for not keeping to their words. if i were a buyer, i'd check the things myself instead of listening to what they say. afterall words are just words no voice recording u cant bring them to court also
