QUOTE(victor87 @ Jan 8 2010, 05:25 PM) Hahaha.. In terms of performance, D90 did better than the D5000 right?? Any main advantage of these two DSLR? Of couse D90 is much better than D5000... Even newer version pop to replace D90, it does not matter if you own D5000 or D90 because D5000 is below D90.. If possible, I wish to get D90 than D5000 however now I happy with my D5000.. Yup yup.. mostly those new lens come with built in motor d... different people different views huh?? That's confusing me... either get a D5000 or a D90.. IIRC, D90 released on 2008 right?? It's a 2y.o model... Sked later bought this and come out a new model to replace D90, then really am tui d... Or any other brand to recommend other than Nikon?? » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « My budget is RM4k+-... Totally new to DSLR... Want a good DSLR, i'm not a enthusiasts that upgrade DSLR every few months... hehe |

QUOTE(maxh3h3 @ Jan 9 2010, 08:47 AM) 18-55mm 3.5-5.6 is already well known kit len in nikon family. oooo.. Okay.. 28-105 is a old lens if i m not wrong, should be a D len so the nikon without a build in focusing motors wont be able to auto focus. at 105 mm without a VR really need a tripod or a very steady hand. (Classic lens) kinda old but it still a very good lens because at 105 mm u still retain the high aperture of 4.5 which actually may give u nice bokeh in just the nice distance for portrait. |

QUOTE(powx84 @ Jan 21 2010, 09:26 PM) I have a tamron 70-300mm...cheap but no antishake mechanism. My budget actually not exceeded 1k.. I looking for 18-200 with anti shake, however I am not sure. Please adviseBetter to get a Nikon 55-200mm VR or if you can afford it,the nikon 70-300mm VR. As far as i know,Sigma 18-200mm got OS (sigma antishake)...Tamron 18-200 & Tamron 18-250 doesnt, the Tamron 18-270 got antishake though. |

QUOTE(kucingfight @ Jan 22 2010, 08:46 AM) new. oo I see i see... Actually I wish to get 18-200 but the budget limited.. CNY already make my wallet vomit blood... I wanted to use during CNY .. I might hold after CNY as well. I want to get 70-300 or 55-200 because I saw the limited range my kit len can reach.. While in event, my kit len just can't reach the stage..generally a rule of thumb, the bigger the focal range, IQ is compromised. So , decide what you want, either the 18-200 (more exp) or 55-200vr (cheaper, addition to your kitlens). but then again, there's always a price to pay for convenience of not having to swap lens. if 18-200 = get the nikon 18-200vr (used ~rm1.6-1.7k). it's worth adding a few more hundreds to your budget. else, the nikkor 55-200vr |
