camera: d40
lens: 35mm f/1.8G, without hood but got UV filter on
aperture: f/1.8
SS: 1st pic 1/8, 2nd pic 1/4
no flash
ISO 1600

the first picture looks like lens flare, what kind of uv filter did u buy? have u tried to take it out?
