QUOTE(zellleonhart @ Jan 3 2010, 01:16 AM) The d3 was amusing! It responds VERY FAST, and that 500mm lens is SOOOOO big and looks very heavy. I can capture the signboards on the opposite block clearly. The shutter sound is SEXY~ and d700 also not bad, but i dunnoe where to find the mode dial (M,A,S,P) thingy. too noob to use FF haiz... i learned how to operate basic functions of D3wan zoom in in playback also dunno how >.< to change mode u have to press n hold a button(forgot which 1), then turn the command dial to change shutter release mode is to turn a dial on the left under the flash mode, BKT to change AF mode is a switch beside the LCD i n my D40x owner fren so noob that it took us quite some time to found out those manual settings we even turn the camera 180degree face inside the store, then took some sexy bokeh pics |

QUOTE(maxh3h3 @ Jan 9 2010, 12:33 AM) Sigma have the most expensive 50mm in the market, i m just surprise when u say consider the cheaper sigma wrong, Canon 50L is the most expensive 50mm in the market u almost got me so happy hehe, shansinki still selling at rm 2200++ sb400 is so useless, if u plan not to spend alot, go for the nissin di466 which cost like rm350 -450 secondhand. If u dont play CLS, just use it to fill flash or bounce flash to create a more natural lighting. sb400 is so rubbish , it make a SLR user looks like a point & shoot user n dun so harsh on SB400 la, there r SB400 users out there, n Nikon came out with it im sure there r some usefulness to it at least it is far better than the PnS style built-in flash la |

QUOTE(Sp00kY @ Jan 12 2010, 12:55 PM) anyone here that owns D5000 and D90? metering on D90 n D5000 is most likely the samemy friend has a D5000 and i realized that its matrix metering isnt as accurate as the D90 one. It tends to underexpose the pic by quite abit. (all exif are the same) eg: D90, 18-55mm, iso 200, A mode, f/3.5, matrix metering, ADL OFF Achieved shutter = 1/100 D5000, 18-55mm, iso 200, A mode, f/3.5, matrix metering, ADL OFF Achieved shutter = 1/200 This was what happened to my friend's D5000...thanks but D5000 AI tends to underexpose pic, thats wat i noticed after using my D5000 for so long thats y i prefer use M mode |
