The following was actually the funny part, from yesterday's news:

"Prior to the launch, Yes 4G faced interconnectivity issues with other networks as it was unable to interconnect with the operators. However, the group managed to sign interconnectivity agreements with them yesterday.

We're now finally interconnected with everybody rclxms.gif . We have received full cooperation (from other telcos), Seok Hong said, adding that other operators had welcomed them onboard." icon_rolleyes.gif

So what are they trying to say? They want to fight their rivals or steal their business with their co-operation? laugh.gif

All along I was under the impression, wireless broadband was what they will promote the most and cross swords with P1, but most of press release recently is on lower cell phone calling rates. Which means their rivals are the established Telcos. rclxub.gif

Want to start a price war with them? sweat.gif A lot of the base stations they are using belong to TM, so they cannot openly challenge this Kawan and now they sign agreements with the other Telcos for interconnectivity in use of mobile phones, so also cannot challenge this whole group of kawan-kawan. wub.gif

Are they getting lost in a wireless jungle? laugh.gif

I still clear of the reasons why i picked YTLP last time. It is because of their slow and steady growth in water and power sector. Since their venture into wimax, i had ask myself to stop pumping into this counter.

What more to say recently the share price has appreciated. I preferred to sell off 100% and stay sideline instead.

$$$ is more important to me than anything else.

As a minority investor, dividend ($$) is more important than anything else. No matter how the management on how good it is on wimax is just on paper to me. How sure you can reap the profit out of it?

Always remember we are the minority shareholders. Don't expect too much biggrin.gif

No one can really give you the answer for that. If anyone of us know, we will be richer than WB already biggrin.gif
What you need to know is study this counter and then see whether it is worth your money. Like WB say, "price is what you pay, value is what you get"

Profit increase almost 20%, EPS decrease 4% from 3.93 ? So much diluted ? What the heck ! Warrants exercised ? Are this going to end ?

Yup, from 5.8 bil shares in 1Q 2009 to current 7.1 bil shares. So dilution will occur definitely. This was mentioned during the 1st quarter of 2010 where the leftover 800mil plus warrants (2005-2010) was going to expire. This netted them about RM1 bil in cash.
