If i buy an a550 standard package, do i need to prepare xtra $$$ for basic things like pouches, lens cap and straps?  icon_question.gif

I bought from Sony centre. For the old promotion, I got the SAL18250 + pouch package for RM1700. It comes with the lens cap and the camera comes with the straps.

For the new promotion, there is free printer. drool.gif

i'm sure not often that wedding photographers use rule #7

True.

To be fair it is up to the photographers. If he's a 'god-like' kind who turn everything into gold why not right? and its the markets that decides whether they want to choose them based on the conditions.

yea..if u have the demand..u can affort to put in any clauses u want..lol..afterall sometimes the more demanding u r..the more ur customers think highly of u...LOL

but those r for business-minded photographer...if u r those intrinsic photographer..u'd probably be happier if the client truely loves ur work..price doesnt really matters as long as it wont starve u...art > money at any time..lol..

both have their own market segment i guess..

Yup. True enough, it's entirely up to individual. However, they are full timers. For them, yes it's an art but still they need to put food on the table for their family. Client happy, but family not happy... susah la...

Aikes! Was trying out my a550 and noticed that there is a dead pixel on the LCD!!!!! doh.gif

The funny thing is, it is only present on Live view. On picture playback, the LCD looks perfect..... rclxub.gif

that is not dead pixel, i think that is a dust between liveview sensor to mirror.

Could be a dead pixel on the live view camera. Or dust on the Live View camera. It won't affect image taking, so it's up to you on how to deal with it.

It's a blue dot only in live view. No defects in MF check LV or in playback mode..... rclxub.gif

Anyway, will ask my vendor tomorrow to see what he says.....
