I SMS-ed the seller and I was told that its a netherland dwarf. actually i dont mind if i like the rabbit, but what im scared of is that it be a big size rabbit when it ages.

im looking for the smaller sized ones.

Seller cheat you one, or he/she don't know but simply admit only...real Netherland Dwarf doesn't look like that. tongue.gif

You can go google find out how a pure breed Netherland Dwarf look like...but i guess RM120 is ok for a mixed breed i guess, I've seen shops selling at that kind of price also.

Remember to check its health before buying so won't bring home a sick fella. And confirm with the owner the age of the rabbit (<2 months old rabbit dies quite easily when away from mother and moving places). Even though I see nowdays some irresponsible breeder, especially from those pasar malam/pagi selling baby rabbit like hot cakes. They say their rabbit is 2 months old, but from what I see...its not even 1 month old from its size and features. mad.gif

Most of the time mixed breed are regular sized rabbit, so they might grow up big like the local rabbits here.

imagine u pay $120, 2 month later, it grow like "jack rabbit". u cry every night!.

from the pic, i guess the bunny age is less than 1 month!

if you want/need a small rabbit the safest bet is a pure breed ND, DH or HL. but HLs also can get quite big, my friend's HL is double the size of my ND. think better u just save up and get a pure breed ND. be wary of some of these breeders out there, best get from a reputable breeder. rclxm9.gif

P/s : I would suggest and recommend each of all rabbit owners to have all these 3 in their bunny's first aid kit. Well, just in case u know *touchwood* tongue.gif

Hahaahahahahaha, not being able to bark is a good thing for us apartment dwellers. If I were to get a dog or a cat I bet within one week management will receive a complain from my neighbors. Even now I get nasty looks in the lift when I have hector in his carrier, they think I'm carrying a dog!

lil monster has a new toy from his uncle guppy!

Hi guys..

I would like to suggest.. maybe we could make our thread more informative rather than 'sembang kosong'.

Some of us might be lucky to have rabbit-savvy vets around. But what about some of us who live in some areas that hard to find a rabbit-savvy vet, and have to work on their own when it comes to emergency?

Not many of us would take a great effort, and go extend/beyond to look for other alternatives when it comes to our bunnies. I believe, some of u might have a good info while googling around (Normally, we google most when our bunny is sick!). So why dont we share our knowledge here?? (Especially Sangterap & Beh smile.gif)

Sangterap, maybe we could put this info at the page #1 (Eg : FIRST AID KIT) So everybody can refer back to that page everytime we're facing an emergency and when the vet is not available.

I'm suggesting this bcoz i myself is building up my bunny first aid kit. I believe some of u also have your own bunny first aid kit, rite? Most of the rabbit owners in UK and US keep their complete first aid kit handy. I think we also should start one. But our problem is; some of the things we cant get in Malaysia. For example Benebac Probiotic, Simethicone and Pedialyte. And those items are A MUST in first aid kit.

I'm making some research n reading thru other rabbit forums (from UK & US). So i found a few alternatives and would like to share some info here. smile.gif

First of all, do u guys already own a first aid kit? What do u guys have in that first aid kit?? Come share with us!

perhaps the good vets we have talked about can be put into a list onto the first page of every version of the thread?
