Vincent, I noticed in your pic that your rabbit is sitting on some blue mat. What mat is that? My rabbit now sits on some kain but he poops on it and pees on it too. I don't want to remove it as I am afraid he'll get sore hocks.
*
aiyo, we dont put kain at their cage as their floor. they might urine at the cloths and its smell...their shit stuck at those kain also....
i recomemend u go Jaya Jusco or Giant ...i think easily find those floor mat...i prefer go Giant.

That's a good idea. Thanks man.

Yeah he poops and pees on the kain like crazy.

I gave him some toys to play with but he doesn't like it. I gave him a toilet roll, some cardboard boxes and a hay roll but he only bites the hay roll. Any other suggestions?

Also, ensure that whatever materials you use as litter bedding absorbs their pee. The strong ammonia their pee gives off can corrode your rabbit's nasal cells making him susceptible to respiratory infections. Hence, kain that stains and soaks up pee not a good idea. Use proper, non-scented, natural pet bedding.

Ok ok. So I will remove the kain, get that mat and also get new toys.

I saw a hay tunnel which looks interesting. DUnno if he will play with it tho. I gave him a cardboard tunnel and he ran through it a few times and decided to lie down inside it.

Btw, any vet you guys can recommend? I stay in Sri Petaling and I don't mind travelling. Not to far la.

kekekeke, my rabbit LOVES his hay tunnel- can hide inside, can climb on top, can bite and can eat. best of all worlds! it's a bit pricey but can last at least 4 months.

first page of this forum got list of vets. personally i like:

HILLPARK VETERINARY MEDICAL CENTRE
18 & 20 Jalan Anggerik Eria AT 31/AT, Kota Kemuning, Shah Alam
Tel: 03 51228386 (Dr. Lynette & Dr. Loh)

Dr. Lynette is very very good at handling rabbits.

I'm guessing that like my rabbit, your rabbits legs kangkang due to lack of grip. My rabbits front legs only kangkang when he's on a slippery surface. Try placing your rabbit on a less slippery surface and see if she kangkangs.

human and animals dont share most of the virus strains...might cause death to human but totally fine to animals vice versa...even though there are some transmitable diseases from animals to human and human to animals such as SARS,rabies,H1N1...

chicken pox is by Varicella zoster virus a type of herpes virus...want to know further just look up on internet

Please take good care of the black rabbit. don't let them stay too long on the slippery tiles. They may get splayed legs.....

have seen too much of those.....

i put them together at one cage after half hour observe them together in play pan. i find it easier for me to clean the cage.
sadly, both of them dont have chemistry. they didnt "do" that things.

for sure,i buy another cage as i notice my colleague cage is more comfortable.as for skinny, how do i check whether she is under weight or not? she eat a lot and every night i let her exercise.
