QUOTE(siutimtim @ Mar 29 2010, 04:57 PM) Thanks JJBerry, I mean platinum card worr. not Infinite or Word le. I am sure OCBC Platinum Mastercard is not a difficult or high class one la.. - Few of my friends got a housing loan from ocbc, income like 4k plus/month they are offered ocbc plat card without even applying it. They all say it is free for life as long as they still serving the load so they just take loh.. If not under World/Infinite class, then it should be the HSBC Visa Platinum.

QUOTE(siutimtim @ Mar 29 2010, 05:23 PM) Anyone applied HSBC plat card without the required income and success before mah? Err.. the income is like RM150k/year.. quite high for normal platinum le.. sure or not they need this income de.. hahaha Not really, if you have any existing credit card with 30k credit limit can try to apply. As HSBC, their processing quite strict. But not sure for nowadays.

QUOTE(krylicius @ Mar 29 2010, 05:44 PM) Depends on how much you are earning per month..if you are earning let say 4k per month,30k credit limit might be possible..but normally only a plat card can reach that credit limit.. Besides your income, good payment history, membership vintage, credit worthiness might also get this credit limit. FYI,Citibank classic card can get this credit limit. As thier Gold card can get up to 100k credit limit. For 30k credit limit,it's consider entry level for a platinum card if compared to the old time.

Standard Chartered only issue Priority Banking Visa Infinite to their priority banking clients for now. How are they going to manage the non priority banking clients which have this Visa Infinite card they launched middle of year 2008? Anyone have idea or information to share?

QUOTE(hye @ Apr 5 2010, 10:22 PM) It should be similar. The correct word to use is not about "strict" or not ... all Syariah compliant cards are designed that way. Don't flame them ... I'm sure it's all about consumers demands and market needs. Unfortunately we don't use the card that way and fortunately as well we have choices. That's why I repeated say ... no such thing as "Best Credit Card". Each cc has its own specialty and with competition, card issuers compete through service differential to fit different consumer needs. Agreed. Islamic CC also have high end one which is the Bank Islam World Mastercard. If not mistaken this CC carried minimum 100k CL.

Aeon CC is not recomended. Their CS & system are s**ks.... They can still charge you AF after one year you cancelled thier CC. This is because their poor system management, the statements still keep sending to you monthly showing everything zero. No matter how many times of calls and letters being sent to them its still the same.

QUOTE(winner @ Apr 12 2010, 08:47 PM) You don't need to have such a high CL to be invited for World MC. Around RM60k could be sufficient. For the generic World MC when the time it launching confirmed 100k CL needed. Now maybe they reduce the requirements. For the Enrich World MC, I think unable to get it with 60k CL.

QUOTE(constant @ Apr 21 2010, 05:26 PM) So, what is the CL they give u? Is this the highest requirement card? I think Enrich is by invitation only? How about amex platinum--the income requirement? Minimum CL of World Mastercard should be at RM100k. Yes, Enrich WMC is by invitation only and the CL souhld be at RM200k minimum. Which Amex Platinum you mean? For the credit card requirement only RM60k per annum. For the charge card requirement at RM190k per annum(By invitation only). Highest requirement card in the market I think is the RHB Visa Infinite, annual income must be RM380k and CL start with minimum RM200k(By invitation only).

Added on April 21, 2010, 9:19 pmQUOTE(constant @ Apr 21 2010, 08:40 PM) So far highest requirement is RHB Visa Infinite then. But the Enrich don't know what requirement. probably the same as RHB VI. CL 100k can sign one car already. 100k CL is a peanut for the rich tycoon. CL with 300k-500k above consider the highest rank for majority of CC issuers. QUOTE(Malefic @ Apr 26 2010, 10:16 PM) The office boy in my company, earning around RM1.2k per month, got himself a platinum credit card today. I'm still in shock. Platinum CC is very easy to obtain nowadays due to the competative market and issuers keep decreasing the requirement. Many issuers will roll out World Mastercard and Visa Infinite soon to capture the higher end customers. Added on April 26, 2010, 10:46 pmQUOTE(Malefic @ Apr 26 2010, 10:29 PM) The American one I think they will coming out with their Ultima CC in M'sia very soon to replace their "real" platinum level customers. QUOTE(hAnn @ Apr 27 2010, 07:04 PM) i own amex gold & petronas visa gold too. i hav a credit limit of 10k on each cards. It's a combined CL. If you max up your Visa CL, your Amex gold will have insufficient CL to swipe. Other than if the Visa is issued under Maybank Islamic, then it will be seperate CL.
