i've read the manual.. it states that the engine require 3.3L of engine oil.
thats why i wonder where the left over? they should give us the bottle with the remaining oil (like other car makers do). don't want them to use it for other customer car.

hmmm.. just imagine if they have 5 used bottle (5 X 0.7 = 3.5L) and they charge rm209 for next customer. PROFITS!

dunno bout metal bronze, haven't see it yet.
bright silver is common color but does have its own advantage such as easy to maintain and easy to trade off.
metal bronze maybe unique color? anyhow all color looks good on forte.
hi guys. i've question on odometer.. when we fill full tank or reset the FC readings.. does the count shoot up to 50L/100KM and then gradually decreasing until reach normal readings? i've encountered this issue twice.  icon_question.gif

you need to reset the FC reading. I did that (resetting the FC) quite frequent nowadays..

well, its either they pour whole 4L inside ur engine overfill it or they kept it themselves. Open up ur hood and check ur engine oil level den u'll know smile.gif

if engine stated 3.3L requires den they shouldnt pour more than 3.5L, dipstick definitely wont show at max level

ya lo, 3.3 litre only, when i ask the foreman, they give thousands of excuses. always like that, then when i check my engine oil, its about 1 inch higher than the max level.

wahhh.. okay or not? on longer term will it affect the engine?
they should put at max only.. then we can topup the oil with the left over from the bottle (only if necessary)

Mine will be Metal Bronze. I like unique color more than those very common colors.

Hi guys, question about the service interval. It says 5K km or 6 months for second service. If we have a low milage car, do we HAVE to do the second service on the 6th month or we wait till odometer reach 5K km ?

All service interval should be based on milage on your odo, so just wait till 5K KM for next service bro. cool2.gif

Advise from Service Centre:
First service: ODO clocked at 1000km
2nd service: ODO clocked at 10000km

This is because we are using Full Synthetic.

depends on your engine oil..

if you choose mineral.. then 5K km or 3 months..

if you choose fully synthetic.. then 10K km or 6 months..

for both.. whichever that come early

hehe.. last time they use different calculation..
1st service 1K km
2nd service at 11K km (coz 1K + 10K)

then they know that they loss a lot... now they're using new method..
you can see the difference between foreman.. some will use new calculation.. some still follow older calculation..

I think you are right - cause when I asked why not 1+10km = 11km, they said it's easier to monitor (10km) by that way... tongue.gif

you can choose what package that you want.

yeap. free labour for first 3 service.. the labour charges are rm70.
but if we could buy and use our own engine oil.. we could save at least rm50 for each services.. biggrin.gif
