anyone serviced their forte already ? 1st 1000km service

plz do check on the bill, there might be some other 3rd party stuffs they put in and charge you for it.

for my 1st service, they put in battery cap (which i'm not sure what it is for,and should have come together with the car), rainX winscreen washer (which they claimed, they put in, but no proof at all) , fuel injector cleaner ( also no proof) ,

and the engine oil-ask for the empty tank as proof. coz the service centre i went, they told me they put in pennzoil instead of petronas syntium(so far i have not asked for any plastic tank) -if they put in cap ayam oil oso we wont know,and if engine damaged..we still have 5 years warranty,but will cause great trouble to us, while the service centre gets away with real good money


as for the fuel injector and rainX, they said it's in the standard service for every service ...which they cant show any proof to me. AND the worst part is ...THEY STILL CHARGE YOU EVEN YOU SAID YOU DONT WANT IT, it happened to me...coz i have put in my own rainX so i said i dont need them,if they want to put it in, they i say better give it to me in the bottle,but they say cannot coz they add in alittle bit of them only..and charge us rm 4+ .making hell lots of money. so i ask them not to put in, and they still charge me rm 4+ for it , so i've emailed to NAZA and now waiting for their reply.

Added on December 19, 2009, 9:00 amsorry, mine was spectra5, but no worries..same engine same transmission, and same KIA service too ..mine 5 years warranty but yet to get my extended warranty booklet after 4 month. see what is NAZA doing?

coz they say its the procedure ... so i i rather spend rm 4 got get a solid proof on this .so now i can complain and report effectively. if i ask them not to put, and they dont put in and dont charge me, i wouldn have complained rite?

thats y i wanna see if other KIA owners gets this kinda charges,maybe from other service centre

i asked before, the authorized service centre say cannot, the main service centre at Jalan Tandang also say cannot. i dont know why.

which service centre u got? i wanna go also

i read in yahoo yesterday that we do not need to service at the autorized service centre, as long everything we use is in the specs. but have to keep records of what we use..that was in america la, in bolehland can we do this? any one can clarify?

i think we should share info on which service centre we should go and which we should avoid. coz different service centre says different things.

as for me i went to taman mayang(SS26) CDC if not mistaken, coz its near to my office, but they charge me for various stuffs which i dont think is necessary.

any service centre where we can bring our own stuffs?

Fortelover, what did they charge you on?

oil,filter,plug washer, and thats it?

any extra stuffs?

your alignment if being fixed for free because it was their fault, they can tell u thousands of reason for that. I sent my car in to change 4 tyres before, they open up and fix it back without changing the tyres as they were of wrong size...and handed to me straight away..no alighment or balancing done, for 1 whole week my car "goyang" like hell. then when my tyres came, i went and F*** them nicely, and thet frontdesk fella answer to me with a cool face.."oh, ya ke? biar saya check dulu" he just kept silent whenever he saw me.

i got an email from KIA support centre, someone gonna call me and follow up with my complain of KIA service centre charges various unessasary items put into our car during service.

anyone got such experience yet? i might can add in.

ya lo, 3.3 litre only, when i ask the foreman, they give thousands of excuses. always like that, then when i check my engine oil, its about 1 inch higher than the max level.

did u guys get charged for "SUNDRY MATERIALS" when servicing?

yeap, i oso havent see any forte on the road ..rare spectra5 also saw a few already(other than mine)

KIA cars have high engine temp. I my other friends told me before, the old kia spectras is very hot too, it can vaporize the battery water quickly. as for mine, the engine is hot,but the bonnet is not, coz insulated already.

engine temperature is critical for the engine to run efficiently. Cars from colder countries normally have very hot engine . eg merz, thats y we can hear the loud cooling fan sound tens of meters away. my mom's previous Renault also very hot, and the fan will keep on running even the engine has been turned off.

so far which is th best serice centre u guys went to ? can bring own lub oil ? i've complained the taman mayang 1 to KIA, any yet to hear any news about it.

i have complained about their dirty tricks to KIA care centre last 2 week. Yet to hear from them. I'll never go to Taman mayang SC anymore although its just 50m away from my work place. Worst place to service you car as they try to con you right infront of your face.

previously i complained about few problems in my car too, but they didn not fix it. make dont know only. in the end i got it fixed in Jalan Tandang SC.

and becareful when you do your 1st 1000km service there. they'll try to tear your 2nd service cupon instead on the 1st. They will give excuse that they scare naza kia will not pay them. OWNERS BEWARE OF THIS !!
