I didn't know 4Mbps can get this kind of speed?

Hi all,
Will like some advise. I recently moved from KL to Penang and I managed to transfer my streamyx account from KL to Penang. I was using 4mbps in KL. As of yesterday, my phone line and streamyx is now working here in Penang. However, I was told that my area here in Penang supports 4mbps. But when I checked yesterday it is only running at 1.5mpbs. The dude whom I spoke to to get my streamyx said his technician put me on 4mbps port.

My question is, who do I talk/complain to to get this fakap rectified?

That's 1mbps from Japan server.
Are you suppose to get that kinda speed with your package?

Japan a bit slow today....

Speedtest can almost always pass if they r traffic shaping u.

Sigh, ss14 subang area cannot apply for 4mbps, 2mbps also cannot pass

I was on testing cable, cut off make it shorter, going to have lower pings...






Now its time to change them, margin from 26dbi to 18dbi on the cable, thats why I'm getting disconnections and high ping sometimes.

But, no worries, I'm doing them DIY, continuously testing.

i think the guy is testing the line....switching to various 4Mbps ip address
before this is 60.52...now he switched me to 115 and 118....capping port at 2045...my acc is till 1.5Mbps

Fixed phone cable...

LOL my phone cable is 50feet long from the port in the wall... need it that long to reach my room where my router, gb switch n modem is.

If the cable volt is high then 50feet is just possible. Depend on diameter of your fixed cable too.

I'm trying to get 2Mb, not going to subscribe 4Mb at this moment... For now getting higher margin and lower attn... stable and reliable.
