Whoa, back then, the excitement was all about getting capped at 5120 kbps. Now we have people getting capped at 6 Mbps.

This is very unfair to the other 4 Mbps subscribers, in my opinion.
*
where got unfair oh
they capped the "port" at 6Mbps only ma
the "account" is still 4Mbps
so eventhough they capped at 10Mbps...speed is the same...still 400+KBPS only
capped at 5Mbps is very very enough already

capped at higher downlink is to provide more than 4mbps speed, but they capped @ 4mbps but we get 0.8-0.5mbps less than the advertised speed...keep calling them everyday already haven't solved, now see what response from MCMC

that's true.

my line is capped at 2mbps while my account is 512kbps (rm44 package). The actual speed i'm getting is only 512kbps.

Don't complain why other people get their higher cap, complain you are not getting what you subscribed at. Complain you slow and not getting the 80% of speed, then they will cap you higher.

1 answer, NO. But shaping and limit some open connections, is yes... been years enjoying more than 1Mb/sec on 1Mb/s subscribed package. icon_idea.gif

I prefer 218.111 than 124 or 115.
218 always gave me full speed to my US dedicated server and having much lower ping throughout US region.

But 124 or 115 pool, does not perform that well, the latency keep changing all the time, usually high during peak hours and speed was not so consistent to my US dedicated server.

It is funny that for TM. Every different IP Pool had their own weak and strong node. Bad routing network management, not standardize.

That's why every different IP pool had their own good and bad node throughout the world.
Anyway 218.
