just now the guy come planning to upgrade to 4Mbps
he said something is still down...NMS is it?...thn NOC cannot upgrade
few ppl waiting already for upgrade
he said need to wait KL ppl to come and fix it thn only can upgrade

NOC already configure my port.
Capped at 6Mb for download. n 512kb for upload.

Speedtest.. manage to get 5.3Mb for download.. 0.43Mb upload.. tq NOC

but..evening til 3am as usual.. bandwidth kena capping.. only get 200kb - 900kb..kelana jaya area..hehe.. komplen pun still xde apa2 leh buat.

by default..they will set the speed dekat port (capped) 4096 n 512

just if ada special case..complaint..slowness issue..make spam report je..diorg akan set speed kat port tu lebih..5mb or 6mb

if not..mmg susah diorg nak change the speed . so just stick 4096 je la..

no point getting 6mbps cap for 4mbps line IMHO. 5Mbps cap is good enough

Yes u can get fast speedtest, due to peak value, but average is going to be at 4Mbps, since the system would slow you down if you overlimit, and your speed increases after that. The process repeats itself. If you monitor your bandwidth, you'd see a very 'noisy' downloading graph.

I verified it using the BWmonitor on my 2Mbps line capped at 3Mbps

Hi Just upgraded my streamyx from 1mbps to 4mbps yesterday (10 mar) under OKU package.
Told the techie to cap for me to 6/8mbps but he said NO, even though he's friendly and softspoken.
Did anyone of you managed to capped more than 4mbps for the past weeks?
The techie told me that he cannot do it, since new rules from HQ applied. Eventhough I tried to treat him 'duit kopi' and he's adamant to capp for me.

My IP is still 60.x and not even a 115/118.x IP address. Called the techie, no answer, called TM 4 times, cant do about it and informed me to call the techie since it's still under his warranty period.
How can I get a 3 prefix IP address?

Any advice fellow users?

but didn't upgrade becuz he said NMS have problem so NOC cannot upgrade
dn't know have to wait until when only can enjoy 4Mbps

Whoa, back then, the excitement was all about getting capped at 5120 kbps. Now we have people getting capped at 6 Mbps.

This is very unfair to the other 4 Mbps subscribers, in my opinion.
