yeah already got cfm complaint for them a couple days back. all P1 users should start filling in an official complaint!

Added on December 12, 2009, 1:51 pmReset wasn't done on December 1, it was done when your statement date happened, in my case it was reset last Nov. 28.

How many posts have come and go about this "stealth" change to the FUP and still the official P1 Wimax poster doesn't seem to be reading it. maybe the post got invisible ink or something. Makes you froth in the mouth, the way P1 handled this situation.

Anyway, suggest you guys get copies of their terms from the website regularly too. Who knows they might stealthily change that as well.

Any news on this? actually p1 did nothing wrong, they state there, there reserved the right to control your speed..black and white.

The complaint status is currently at Pending "Provider Acknowledged". I think they have until Dec. 15 to reply.

Yeah they have that right and they said it in their FUP which can be found online.

But what they did wrong was (and again i'm repeating myself here) that they changed the policy without informing the subscribers who are under the said policy. There is a code in the cfm website regarding policy changes (see my previous posts) which makes me all the more convinced P1 did something wrong here. Add to that the reply of the customer representative they have that "No notification will be made", makes you wonder -- why keep this change a secret? Afraid of the possible feedback from the subscribers, perhaps?

Add to that, removing the 400kbps/150kbps speed limit they have for the throttled ones under the FUP, and saying that the speed will be dynamically determined by the network if the user reach his limit. Who can stop let's say 1000 irate P1 users from grouping up and connecting to just 1 base station to see how that "dynamically" part is being determined.


Oh and btw, i'm not yet throttled for this month, and this is not the source of my rage at P1.

Just be "fair" to your subscribers and not keep them in the dark of this change to your "Fair" Usage Policy and i'll "probably" pipe down.

Same here, been wondering for days what had happened.

calling all, i suggest all KL and Selangor users to have a TT gathering. I pretty much insane enough to lose my maturity wanting to do the following;

1. i will call my friends who work as journalist from the star, sin chiew and so on.

2. i want them to take picture of me smashing the modem right infront of P1 building.

3. i need yous guys to do the same here. do not pay your bills and smash your modem right in front of P1 building!

4. i need numbers! i need peoples who have this guts to do so!

The reason why i have the guts to do so is i hate CON!!! i hate corporate claiming something ain't true!! such as The Best Broadband, Potong, making fun of other competitors!

P1 really get up to my nerve with their actions and claims!

look like i more lucky then u all i still able to load LYN and still able to test my speed on this speed.

lastly my torrent still will run at 40kb/s at max for 3 second and my average download speed is 6-10kb/s

while download something (not torrent) my website all also cant load .

i am the first person to support u.

please open a thread then we can gather more ppl to do complaint . smashing the modem

I just subscribe 1 month but they alrdy give problem within 3 days.motherfarker p1.

i subcribe on jun and i had problem until september and finally get a sweet spot for the modem then middle of oct the problem come again and still not so worst . so i no care it . and finally school holiday has begin then my internet suck last thursday then after my speed been cap i cant do anything until now . other web all cant open just this web .

P1 actually is packet 1kbps btw

Can P1 do this like Celcom??

Now I'm still downloadoing at 300-400kbps
