Of course. they wanna "trap" you for 2 yrs. of course efficient. I upgraded from 512kbps to 1mbps. Unfortunately the speed was only good for 1 week. after that, its back to same old lousy speed. Pls think carefully before apply. TMnut is not trustworthy. they are only afraid of competition.

Hi,

This offer package really interesting but it seems that it is better for those who have use combo package for more than 1 year.

I just call 100 to ask about it.

My case = i am using RM88 a month for 1MB with rental of RM25 = RM113 (Not the combo package)

If i am to upgrade it to 2MB ..... i can go straight to 2MB for RM99 for 1st 4 month and from 5th month onwards RM110. This is exclusive rental fee of RM25. Monthly rental of RM135. shocking.gif shocking.gif shocking.gif

If i am to switch to combo to get better saving..... i will need to convert to combo 1MB at RM110 (inclusive rental of RM25) WITH a contract of 1 year rclxub.gif rclxub.gif before i can upgrade to 2MB. After 1 year, 2MB will be RM110 for 1st 4 month and from 5th month onwards RM120 <----- this INCLUSIVE rental of RM25.


This is super unbalance package vmad.gif vmad.gif .... final package 2MB with 2 different pricing.


Pls correct me if i am wrong.

i got the same error too. went to a tmpoint and they said it went thru fine. now i'm confused. what did you do after you got this?

You better clarify this again. You say change to 1mb combo for next 1 year, then only upgrade to 2Mb? The super upgrade offer is only valid till end of this year, right? So how is it that 1 year from now they can tell you that you will still get the upgrade price?

If what they have told you is right, then it is possible that as some of us have said before, this is a re-pricing exercise.

yes ... i had confirm with the lady over the phone. i also mention whether this package will still available until then, she can't give me any answer. If they were to re-pricing exercise ... i believe they can start with combo.

Tomorrow is the date which my package should be upgrade. (as the girl who working at TM Point told me.)

Hope tomorrow can upgrade, if not Wednesday I want go to TMPoint again.

I went to TMpoint...waste another hour there + an hour jam coming back to office...and give my boss scold for always going to TMpoint.

They said it was CASS problem whatever. have to wait

But the things that, my speed still stucked at 512kbps even they said it's upgraded to 1.0M. no need to do speedtest also know, because my dslam port still capped at 512/384.

Anyone can comment whether should I upgrade?

Currently using RM 88 + RM 25 fixed line rental and monthly bills come to about RM120++ normally. But my speed is 2MB eventhou I am paying RM 88.

If I upgrade it to 4MB package, is it I pay RM 88 + extra RM 5 only?

I got fed-up waiting for the my register results at Kelana Jaya TMPoint a week ago. So I decided to check out the package online upgrade. Its available and without hesitation I upgraded again. This time it only took me 1 day to get the 1mb line running. Check out the screenshot from speedtest.

I remember correctly the 100 operator said it is impossible for me to upgrade online and I wasted my petrol and working hours with my 2 colleagues at TMPoint. So 100 operator what the heck u guys doing man? Cakap tak serupa bikin?!

Alrite hope Im not going off topic.. about 2 yrs ago I shifted into a new house. So I transfered my old streamyx line (approximately 6 yrs old) to the new tel line. TM appointed some dishonest contractor to my place. Installed the phone n without my knowledge duplicated my streamyx application form.. to subscribe another line! Furthermore they copy my signature and modified my full name. When the bill came it was a whopping rm 400 ++. I called the contractor up and screwed them.. instead they threatened me and scold me back. Fine.. I lodged a police report and went to TM Point to cancel the line. Guess what, it took me almost a year to settle the things .. i had to call 100 every month to explain to different operators (some at Sabah, and this idiots speak hell english) Not to forget they disconnected my line almost twice a month for d duration of 6 months! Reason I didnt pay for my streamyx.. ! And to my horror.. When I checked the MIPS last nite.. My package is still the one the contractor enrolled for me 2 yrs ago! WTF.. !! BUT I still pay RM 66 every month, for the past 1 yr. I bet some suckers weren't doing what they are supposed to do! When I was in TM Point Kelana I ask the front desk so many times abt my current package ( used to be 512mb, without modem, RM 66) I think he did nuts for me then. But Im glad all is done now.. so I said to myself.. dont harap ppl do for you. If u can do it urself. This TM ppl really need some polishing. They really do!
