Dude... seriously torn between the 70300G and Tammy 70200 f2.8... need the range, but need the low light shooting capability... and seriously wish there's a 70-300 f2.8... tongue.gif sure would cost a bomb... biggrin.gif

same here.. tammy 2.8 or a G?? hmm.gif

QUOTE(signither @ Dec 7 2009, 09:33 PM)
i don't need both of them.. and even if i have the money, i think it's better to go with 70200G rather than getting both of them..
*
I would get both if someone's willing to sponsor... tongue.gif but then, would agree with sig on that... rather than buy 70300G and Tammy 2.8, better I go for the 70200G... but main reason is to get what I would need with the money I have rite? so... still stuck here between 70300G and Tammy 2.8... borrowing tubik's Tammy 2.8 next week for a wedding... hopefully it works for me...

Added on December 8, 2009, 9:22 amAs for the 1680Z vs the 16105, I don't think it's a fair fight... tongue.gif somehow... love my 16105 for the range, but love the IQ of the 1680Z... and that's probably why the 1680Z used to be known as the "Cari Makan" lens in this thread... hehehe...

16-80z vs 16-105

i would choose cz16-80

why? More bright, easier to rotate, built quality

the shorter range..you can always crop as IQ of this lens is so good. personally, the 105mm 5.6 not make so much difference from 80mm 4.5

achew, nice 70200G poison! I love it when there's enough space to use such lenses.

noprob: Lovely! Though tighter crops of your images would be cool.

enji: Congratulations!

There is something about its black top, which looks very appealing... it somehow looks blacker than the A200 in a very suave way.

Ya lo... the a500 somehow looks so much better than the a550 IMHO... but the a550 functions still is better than the a500... still can't believe the a500 is available here!

did some comparison at dpreview.com, seems like a550 is better, with higher megapixel and fps. I don't know what else can i compare. but i understand that i have to pay a lot more to get a550. anyway, it's my first slr, lets see what can i do with it flex.gif

but after using it..i think im more towards 135F1.8 + beercan combination now..70200G is a nice lens..i can tahan the weight but it doesnt seem to give me the DoF/bokeh i want...maybe when there is a chance..i should get my hands on 135mm b4 i decide anything =D

although A500 and A550 has the same body, they are very diff in spec.

i would say A500 are better Replacement for A300/A330(not an upgrade). while A550 are real Upgrade for A300/A330 users. this applies to A3xx users. those uses A700/850/900 wont be bother with A500/550 (except for the auto hdr function which is so kewl.)

so now is more of, to upgrade to A550 or A700 (and A500 is not in the option)

Added on December 8, 2009, 11:47 amand A500 is seriously good for entry level (for those who dislike A330 grip), it also has Vgrip upgrades brows.gif brows.gif
