2470 is not that suitable for apsc..the range isnt very favorable..not wide..and yet no long..and given u already have 1680..85 1.4 is more suitable for u...

Nigel Barker video tutorials! Some of the tips are real gems if you watch them.

finejava: For APS-C, the Carl Zeiss 85mm F1.4 to get a nice midrange. 135mm will be a bit too long on APS-C. Yes, the Zeiss 85mm is FF (of all the Zeiss lenses, only the 16-80mm is APS-C.)

they labelled SAL18250, but the photo is SAL1680Z =.=
then i went to klcc, wanted to try the a850 battery grip, one of the salesman told me the price for vg90 is not announced yet, then give me a vg50 =.=
i was like, it's been there for more than a year already.

Its the one from Time Wrap right? Saw it in strobists if im not wrong. Really had fun playing with it. Will continue to do it once i acquired a decent tripod. Right now have to stop first since its really a 'wet' experience laugh.gif

i think it'd probably saves u alot shutter counts n time if u have some sort like a infrared sensor..sometimes trail n error whole day without getting a desire shot could be frustrating.....i always get my floor flooded for nothing..lol
