Wanna ask one noob question.
The BenQ monitor I'm planning to use for my Xbox 360 has this 3 input oni - Input Signals: DVI/D-sub/HDMI.
The accessories comes with a VGA/DVI cable.
My question is, because the xbox 360 basic cables are component cables... the green blue red, will I have to buy new cables to use with the monitor? or are component cables known by another name that is already specified above?

^buy 360 VGA adaptor - non official ones are pretty cheap. if your 360 set has HDMI, can choose HDMI cables also.

Thinking of buying the Pana TH 42 PV70 (its UK brother the TH42PX70 just won the What HiFi 2007 Awards for best 42 inch screen. Any one here uses a this or a plasma? I guess for movies its good because of the blacker than black levels and good motion but how about games? Lag, refresh times...anyone care to comment?

Another noob question, when i'm plugged into the monitor, the 360 switch i should put to HDTV mode? Lastly, whats the cheapest 19" LCD TV i can get... if theres any..

Unfortunately must work within budget Are you connecting any next gen consoles to it? 360 or PS3? How's the performance?

Damn maximum regret to but Sharp LCD with 100Hz. Should have go ahead and buy the SOny D series. I took things as granted. I am assuming that the Sharp 32" LC-32A53M does support 1080p but ended up it only support till 1080i only.Where else Sony D series 32"LCD TV does support 1080i and come with 100Hz.... Shit.. no one to blame but to blame myself for taking things granted.

Hey rx330, how much did u get u'r PV70 for? I saw the 50" Pioneer Kuro the other day showing Spiderman 3 and was absolutely floored by the colors and black levels. Its like watching a whole new movie..sorta made me a Plasma believer at that moment. I'm gonna be done with my car loan soon so i can definitely afford a brand new TV.. and this time I'm looking at 42 incher and I want a Plasma!!! Screw 1080p..lol, since at 42", I doubt i can tell a difference anyway. That's what I thought too, who needs 1080p at 42" Anyhow, Desa is selling it at 4488 I think but only 1 yr warranty...which makes it kinda risky. Rather get a 5 yr warranty.
