If u wanna bring u'r PS3 for testing, try Harvey Normal @ Midvalley Megamall.. I believe they're more than willing to accomodate.

If u observe, the area where those LCDs are being displayed is usually very bright. Try to look at the ceiling, u'll noticed all the bright spotlights. tongue.gif now, there must be a reason for that right? heheh

Or better yet, go to Best Denki @ Midvalley. Walk to the left where they have the Sony's Sharp and Samsungs (go at night)...u'll see the blue backlight in those screens that I've been complaining.

Good luck!

JB indeed quite dangerous, Risky to put the console in ur car. Getting robbed is one thing. Getting slashed by those maniacs is another.

Well, after reading through the last few pages... it seems that no one is considering Sony. Is it that bad? I know the X series is sweet but the V series isn't doing too bad either. My GF has a 46" S series at her home, only try GoW 1 time at her house and it looks sweet.

However, I am so tempted to go for Samsung S8 deal from MBF.

^ The reason is pretty obvious. Sonys costs considerably more. biggrin.gif

Hahaha... didn't thought of that... lol... it's a shame that everything produces by Sony costs more that their competitors and yet the quality is not as good (sometimes).

Sony LCD TVs always command a 'premium' price over other makes.

IMHO, premium price, yes, but the quality of the display itself is subjective smile.gif

I've seen some people shake their heads at Sony, go to Samsung, seem almost pleased by it, then agree to get a Sharp, but walk off with Toshiba instead. So I suppose there's no easy answer ya?
