I've just gotten a BB Bold 9000 with Digi Smart Plan on Friday. So far, it has been an excellent experience.

However, I'm facing this problem that a call rings for a few seconds and goes directly to voicemail. I've tried to set it to "Do Not Forward" under the Call Forwarding settings for both Line 1 (calls come into this line) and Line 2 but for Line 1, the settings doesn't save. It's still defaulted to forward to the voicemail.

Please advise as this problem is getting very annoying.

Thank you.

Try calling Digi @ 016-2211 800, ask them to either extend rings or cancel off your voicemail.

Hi domokun,

Thanks 4 the prompt reply but is this a common prob amongst BB Bold 9000 users with Digi Smart Plan? I followed the instructions on page 24 & 25 of the manual (highlighted in bold below). I'm just curious abt this. Anyone encountering the same problem?

1. In the phone application, press the Menu key.
2. Click Options.
3. Click Call Forwarding.
4. Perform one of the following actions:
• To forward all calls to a call forwarding number, select the Forward All Calls option. Change the Forward All Calls field to a call
forwarding number.
• To forward unanswered calls only, verify that the Forward All Calls field is set to Do Not Forward. Change the If Busy, If No
Reply, and If Not Reachable fields to a call forwarding number.
User Guide Call waiting
24
5. Press the Menu key.
6. Click Save.
To stop forwarding calls, change the Forward All Calls field to Do Not Forward.

I've called Digi Helpline and hv disabled my voicemail via *128#.

digi BB is good and fast loading. Don't go for celcom...just changed mine to digi because of terrible downtime on BIS and slow surfing (most of the time is request timedout).

On BB Bold 9000, what's the difference between using "Browser" and DIGI WAP (Web 'N' Walk)? Is 1 of them chargable (not included in the BIS package)?

no diff for digi as both will use digi bis. but celcom is different. celcom will charge you for the wap browser.

i just come back from digi centre asking about the digi bb promotion.

im a postpaid DG50 existing customer and plan to purchase bb 8520. is it true that it is compulsory for me to subscribe the data plan RM58/month together with the bb?

can i just remove the data plan and only get the bb instead.

As long as u got edge coverage, BIS is not a problem. You should be able to fully utilize your BB at Kuantan tongue.gif
