If they dun allow tethering (which is using diginet) from BB device. Do U think they will allow data service (that use the same diginet setup) ??

yeah my unbilled transaction for digi smart plan is 1600+ LOL and i am on unlimited plan ..just surf only le..as long as blackberry.net and digi WAP all will be waived unless DigiNet have to pay

I'm using DiGi's BlackBerry Unlimited package and it doesn't affect my unbilled amount.

This is pretty much how the BB Unlimited works:

-unlimited free usage SO LONG you are using it on your BB device (i.e. BlackBerry.net APN)
-unlimited free streaming as well on BB device (use digistrm APN)
-Tethering phone (as a modem) will be charge pay as you use

At RM58 per month for unlimited usage this is really great for me.
Voice calls no commitment.
And since my bills are usually RM200 per month (voice + data) i'll also enjoy the 100% discount on BB Unlimited (which is worth RM58 per month).

hi guys i know this is abit off topic but if Compared U mobile and Digi which is better eh ? im using U mobile at home now but im thinking to get a new phone so the first thing that comes to mind is Digi since i've been using it for ages more then 5 years. Heard that it has a package with free BB so kind of interested. U mobile im using is the U68 plan broad band only.

so guys what is your take U Mobile better or Digi or some thing else u would recommend since i want to get a new phone?

I just switch my DG50 to DG30 coz i dont call people that much and Apply the DIGI unlimited.
3G connection is good coz using nokia 2730 at the moment.
Any conz of switching like above ?? very soon gonna get one BB device.

And more thing. BB 8520 is running on edge rite. I found out there is BB 8530 which has 3G. Hrm.....

I just don't understand 1 thing.

I am currently using E71 with unlimited 3G (rm58). It is capped at 3gb & i can use my phone like bb (immediately receive email via nokia messaging, chat using nimbuzz etc). Apart from that, i can also use it for tetthering etc.

If i switch to blackberry device with digi bis, what is the advantage compared to my current plan?
I only see 3 advantages
- no commitment for calls
- calls at rm0.15 cents instead of rm0.20 cents
- discounts

I do not see any other advantage. Digi bb smart plan also has 3gb cap & worse thing is it cant be used as modem etc which is a waste. Messaging wise it is same with my current phone.

If i terminate my current plan & subscribe to digi bb smart plan, would that benefit me?

Messagin wise is way better than Nokia Email bro! I switch from E71 myself..yes, what a slack can't use it for tethering..as its under PAYU! BB is an awesome device...

Nope. BIS and 3G are both different service.

No BIS= No Push Mail, No IM, No Social Network, No Internet, GPS wont work and many more features missing.

For your previous post, I am ex-E71 user converted to BB. Here the gain and lost:
Gain:
1) Real Push Mail. Up to 10 email accounts.
2) Blackberry Messenger. This is the main killer app for BB. Highly addicted and make U productive (or non productive)
3) Better Keyboard. Yes. BB keyboard is very good compare to E71
4) U get gorgeous screen (for 8900 ) compare to E71. BB screen is very viewable under direct sunlight.
5) U can higher screen resolution 480X360 (BB 8900) vs 320X240 (E71)
there are few more..but cant think of now.

lost:
1) Garmin not support for BB for Asia Region
2) Slimness of E71
3) tethering

My personnel experience after converted to BB was great so far. BBM's Group give me a platform to meet more new peoples, make more friends.
BBM Group also let user share photos, information/news, lists, calender and etc. Truly a great platform for collaboration.
