basically the good thing about this plan is you dont have to pay the commitment fee for the voice plan unlike the other digi postpaid plan. it's pay per use. so i think its a good deal for blackberry users who are not so into making calls

exceed 3GB will be capped, not charged PAYU you rate. should be like that.

there's no such thing as 3GB limit. it's unlimited

good summary  nod.gif

some adjustment, its total usage of RM100 (BB RM58 and Call/SMS/MMS RM42) - discount 25% = about RM75  smile.gif

28. Can I get discounts on the BlackBerry Unlimited Package?
You can enjoy a 25% discount when you have a minimum total usage of RM100 (of which RM42 is for voice calls) monthly. You can enjoy BlackBerry Unlimited for free with total usage of RM200 monthly (of which RM142 is voice calls).
*
i believe the 25% applied to BIS only (25% from RM58) and not to the total bill

so the calculation should be RM100 - 0.25(58) = RM85.50

anyone can confirm this?

what is the blackberry forwarding address for digi?

for example maxis is xxx@maxis.blackberry.com and celcom is xxx@mail.vodafone.com

how about digi?

Instead i received this!

DiGi
There is an issue with your switch to DiGi caused by your current service provider. DiGi Customer service will contact you shortly to resolve this.

OMG!! I hate to wait and now i received this message! WAHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!  cry.gif

[Edited] I called both DiGi and Maxis. DiGi Customer Service said that my ic number is not same as my maxis number. And I called Maxis, she said that my number been registered under my mom's ic (since before I migrated back to prepaid). Should be, if I migrated back to prepaid, they will ask my ic, instead they asked my mom ic.

Now I have to go back to Maxis center at KLCC and change owner's name. WTF!

Now I hate maxis even more!
*
i encounter exactly the same issue.. my application to port in to digi was rejected because my simcard is registered under my mom's name..
maxis wont let me to port out even i can provide all the necessary details
now i have to go back to my hometown which is so far away from KL just to change the ownership

just successfully ported from maxis to digi today and my digi line was activated about 1 hour ago
but until now im still not able to use BIS.. the status is edge instead of EDGE
i've done the following things
1) requested maxis to release my BB pin before port out
2) battery pull after putting new sim card
3) re-registered host routing table

is there anyone experienced the same issue b4? or do i need to wait for few hours b4 the BIS to fully activate?
how bout the entries in service book? do i need to remove all of them first?

My APN is all the time blackberry.net after I read some thread that if you use diginet for your APN, you'll be charged. I will do another check on my bill again later. Anyhow I wonder what's the GPRS charges at RM0.10?
*
i faced the same issue as yours last week.. i was charged with GPRS charges even though i set the APN setting to blackberry.net since the beginning..

what u can do now is to call digi CS or use the D'chat service to let them know.. they will waive those GPRS charges in your next bill

so yes or no if we use APN other than blackberry.net we will be charge PAYU
*
it is quite frustrated that digi cannot give a consistent answer regarding this issue.. some CS say will be charged as PAYU and some say won't.. i believe this is one of the frequently asked questions and digi CS should be aware about it

usually the new line will be activated within few hours but the BIS will be activated after midnight.. i suggest you to reboot your phone after midnight and see whether you can get the BIS signal

Added on February 3, 2010, 9:47 pmSomeone pls enlighten me. How do I release my pin? Call DiGi CS & ask them to release my pin right?

1st, I chat with OCS but he went missing after I ask him to release my pin. I was waiting for 5 minutes but I guess he ran back home.

Then I immediately called DiGi CS at 0162211800 but they said that I cannot release my pin by calling them. I need to go to the place I bought my phone & ask for release code. I then asked her what to do with the release code? She said that the new user need to key in the release code to unlock his BIS rclxub.gif

Can someone help me?
*
it looks like the CS misunderstood your inquiry or maybe u asked him a wrong question

to release BIS pin --> must be done by telco

to unlock BIS for phone which is locked by carrier --> anyone can do this by using unlock code

i bet u are on rm58 plan, aren't u? do u get extra charge on your bill after changing your apn to diginet?

im on rm58 plan and im afraid to change the apn to diginet coz AFAIK we should stick with digistrm to avoid PAYU charge for streaming youtube

i think certain digi personal miscommunicate .. sweat.gif
the real truth is 1st to 6 month they giving rm40 rebate.
not 1st to 6 month  bill ony deduct RM28 doh.gif

so it means,bill deduct (RM78-40)
= RM38

not rm28

hope tis will clarify ,when u got the bill..
*
to be frank.. most of digi CS suck big time when talking anything related to BB.. i have been through a lot of troubles with most of them.. out of 5, only 1 is well trained
