QUOTE(tabs @ Nov 22 2009, 11:11 PM) so if i am the existing digi customer if interested buy bb just sign up contact right?? no need add on the bb plan am i correct? U have to add the BB plan...its RM58 per mth for Blackberry Internet Service (BIS), without BIS ur BB is only a normal phone > can only Make Calls & SMS (THATS IT)...nothing else..thats why u need BIS for Blackberrys. Thats the difference between normal phones & Blackberrys. Once BIS is activated, u can go online, use ur browser, push mails, chats & facebook, etc. I'm a existing DIGI customer too for long time, I too have sign up for BB BIS plan @ RM58 per mth (Data Unlimited > unlimited usage, leave it on for 24/7, connect to your lappie as a modem if u want to also can) In another word, YES u have to add BB plan as its part of the package! Dont think u'll be able to just buy the phone @ the offer price..also be remember DIGI BB BIS Plan has no contract, no commitment or whatsoever..thats what DIGI told me.. Call 016-2211800 for further info! This post has been edited by domokun: Nov 22 2009, 11:24 PM |

Better check with DIGI in regards to new or existing user!
I'm a DIGI user for many years now...& the plan DIGI offered me is BIS Data Unlimited RM58 + Normal calls & sms charges...also I get my own BB phone but its the same whether I buy from DIGI or not..the plan remains the same! Its just if u bundle with BIS then they offer u BB 8520 at the offer price lar http://www.digi.com.my/whatshot/promotions...kberry/index.do Speed ranging from 46x - 76xkbps..consider not bad lar..either EDGE or 3G This post has been edited by domokun: Nov 22 2009, 11:47 PM |

QUOTE(chocolatewhore @ Nov 24 2009, 03:04 PM) keep us updated. am thinking about the DiGi Berry plan. but am going to test out the Maxis 5MB theory first (i.e. won't be able to hit the limit). ;p Frankly speaking, dont think DIGI's quality will be bad nor it will deteriorate..it has always impressed me, I was once a Maxis user |

QUOTE(littlebeettle @ Nov 24 2009, 04:27 PM) I doubt so... Ic..i thought it'll only work on 64bit simcard? But I'm no expert..just sharing my 2 centscoz i did both soft / hard reset, yet my DiGi still having problem. Then I have no choice but to pass to my bro to use it with Maxis. He has got no problem with the phone. I was using 32 bit sim back then..recently chg to 64 bit.. so, could this be the issue? |

Yes, there is no extra charge as its unlimited...I've check plus I'm using it with my lappie Now I wonder if anyone knows we can tether the bberry with our laptop with no extra charges...is this truly unlimited or only unlimited with BIS on Bberry |

QUOTE(red-queen @ Nov 25 2009, 12:53 PM) wow, this BB plan from Digi is really really attractive. too bad it came a lil too late. i just signed up for 24 months with maxis RM150 with unlimited data + E71 few months back... Haha..u also here arr!else i'll definitely buy my own BB Bold + the Digi BIS plan. RM58/month unlimited(cap 3G at 3GB, EDGE after 3GB) is damn damn damn cheap compared to other Operators. no voice commitment, pay as you call. i hope digi will maintain their attractive BB plans. will definitely port over when my contract ends |

QUOTE(ryukick @ Nov 30 2009, 10:39 AM) yeah just wondering as I wanted the curve but since it doesn't have 3G i can't really use it for tethering.... I would say considered quite stable although the speed figure might not be very convincing..but it sure doesnt lag. FB games & Youtube were smooth while tethering with 3G & Lappie...while downloading from Apps World were ok..downloading attachment too is not bad <<< THATS ON EDGE! not 3G, for battery saver! |
