sure u'll see it displayed accordingly but the actual Tb opening is not 100% when it suppose to be.

Pay attention on some funny or abnormal of ur car these few days.

Noted.

Quite strange if its not 100% opening but still got the same top speed/power when full throttle. I think the installer lazy abit and skip on some part because I remember that the wiring diagram got extra pair of 1kohm resistor arrange as a voltage divider for the TPS before going into the SAFC, but not sure since I just took a peek.

I'm not so sure about SAFC unless I have a view on the wiring layout but if AFC Neo then I can quite firm on the wiring portion. So for you case the piggy will always assume 75% = 100% throttle, therefore your setting at Thr point (High THR %) has to be 50%. Which means when you hit >=50% of the throttle, piggy will load High THR Air Map.

For my car, i set it as below

High THR = 75%
Low THR = 30%

If not mistaken

High THR = 60%

So, ur actual full throttle = 75%. Therefore 60%-25%=45% (is ur actual throttle opening to activate High THR air map). Do I confusing you? haha

Anyway the High/Low THR is meant for map activating, u can adjust that later to suit ur driving style.

SRS= Secondary restrain system, such as airbags. I assume primary would be the safety belt. Not sure bout pre-tensioner though, but its prevent you from plunging forward during an accident, maybe also part of SRS.

Yeah, usually the light only on when something bad happen.

Pretensioner works with the sensor (I assume its the same for airbags) to pull you back instead of limting your movement during crash like the clamp system.

Added on December 8, 2009, 8:15 pmAnyway, I can find out which wire is the throttle position for the ECU by following the wiring of my SAFC. But no time to do it...

Seat-Belt Pertensioner really works, (Gatal nothing to do laugh.gif )

drive up to 40km/h and give it a hard brake with moving in front of your body,
your seat-belt will immediately tighten... biggrin.gif

Thanks for the info. In the manual it does state about this functionality, but don't know whether it is installed in our car or not. Strange there are no info in proton website though doh.gif

To tune the air/fuel ratio. Only works during open loop (throttle more than 60%). Else the ECU kept correcting the ratio, the operator show me this while he's tuning on dyno. The change done by the ECU is very fast. Not much power improvement but the vibration at 3k++ rpm is gone and it looks really nice. thumbup.gif

won't hurt one, press a slightly harder brake you will feel the Seat-belt tighten and it won't let you go in front further... wink.gif
