For EBD in proton, they have a sensor which calculate all 4 wheels speed. When apply brake, the sensor will sent signal to the brake system and then the system will apply brake pressure according the speed on each 4 wheels. It will balance the braking by supplied sufficient pressure for all 4 wheels and make sure the vehicle will not skid.

QUOTE(sphiroth @ Nov 22 2009, 11:28 AM) Still no CPS for Persona.. It wont have the icon light on. If it sometime light on, the sensor can't read the signal. Sometime it will light on when like doing emergency brake or hard corner with sudden apply brake. I've always wheel spin until the car pulled to the left when launching from standstill at 5k rpm, but no lit icon. QUOTE(pearjar @ Nov 22 2009, 04:03 PM) If no cover is 'naked', then our cps is 'naked' lah ekk.. Of course 1 coil one spark plug is better. As our cps using Double Coil. 1 coil 2 spark plugs.iafm have 4 coil for spark plug, no distributor... Is it better then 1 coil+distributor as our cps? Cannot use hppc ek..? |

QUOTE(sphiroth @ Nov 22 2009, 11:12 PM) But SC staff should be able to do it for free... yeah... that why every week i use PDT to tune my TPS to 100%. But it hard to get 100%.. I tried get 93% only.. If got 100% got tps, it more fun to drive with. hehe. More bits size, more mapping point, more variables, more calculation per sec, thus better power and FC (theoretically). QUOTE(ahpaul82 @ Nov 22 2009, 11:24 PM) Do you dare to buy? Hi singchaii, i was thinking to remap or retune my ECU, Which SC you would suggest? that day I see some member saying about the TC light on our meter. I take out a waja cps meter and check. It had many icon is not using like safety belt, tc and etc... Proton put that for suka suka. If you wan that light on, install bulb to it. QUOTE(sphiroth @ Nov 23 2009, 04:46 PM) About the throttle position sensor, is it using potentiometer (variable resistor)? Wanna do some project on that. you mean the potentiometer on the accelerate pedal? What you gonna do on it? I tried alot with it and it not help while some make it worst.. Try tell me what you did and we discuss on it.. I only did modification on VIM on waja cps. It helped alot. If you take out the meter panel, please make a photo document of it for members to DIY, maybe can sell them online. Added on November 23, 2009, 10:38 pm QUOTE(eujinee @ Nov 23 2009, 05:06 PM) i alwiz feel wen my throttle at 70% pressure..is equals to 100% engine power...coz..around 70-100% pedal is equally same.....infact 100% doesnt feel is actually doin 100%..thts y drag usually i keep my pedal around 80% throttle...feel more power as auto gear does slip pretty badly... This is what I doing now. throttle 100% = TPS 100%. If i can get this setting, the car is really fun to drive. My supervisor perdana v6, persona iafm all get this setting. But it used alot of time. and 4th gear is not really at its full 100% engine throttle Added on November 23, 2009, 5:09 pm if ur power window doesnt rosak..u r not buying genuine proton..ahhahahhahah QUOTE(jctasoga @ Nov 23 2009, 09:26 PM) juz driven my company persona 1.6A IAFM. got hissing sound like lorry's air filter sucking in air... haha... You can. Behind suspension of persona all swap into your waja. You can see the different. My waja cps rear all using persona rear suspension like rear arm, dog bone, link. Persona rear suspension all so solid and thick.. Then, find satria GTi rear stabilizer bar and put into waja. You really can feel the handling improve greatly.power wise still acceptable quite good for auto i should say. more grunt compared to wira's 1.5A. i tested until 170kmh and still stable with a bit of wiggles due to tyres not balanced. i love the handling. wish my waja can handle as good with the springs a bit hard than now. sigh... btw, i really trash the car.. 100kmh rpm at 2.8k, 110kmh rpm at 3.0k. i think quite fuel saving. done 450kms on RM66 (about 36.7liters). mind you its not yet 1st service... hehe... QUOTE(sphiroth @ Nov 23 2009, 10:55 PM) 1st you use a multimeter and get the output voltage for 0% and 100% throttle to the ECU (correct or not, throttle to ecu and then ecu control the TB?). The idea is tu put some sort of amplifier to amplify the signal but the amplifier must also be adjustable, so we can change the 'sharpness' of the throttle. Yeah.. throttle -> Ecu ->TBAdded on November 23, 2009, 11:02 pmAnother way is to put a resistor in parallel with the potentiometer. But I need to know the resistance for 0% and 100% throttle. QUOTE(R.Y.D.E.C.K @ Nov 24 2009, 09:44 AM) nope ur mitsu Suspension for persona/gen 2 is plug and play on a waja. It more thicker.. About the VIM, VIM is short and long length manifold.. So we mod it always use the short length manifold. So the power will increase. singchaii where ur location??wanna pay visit to ur place ler...ehh wut u mean by mod the VIM??wut the effect n contra of doing it??share ler abit Added on November 24, 2009, 9:48 amguys..Raya Haj Tt...hows?eujin..can put the date ker???im not goin anywhere just dont do raya morning to noon bz ler..want cut cut slash the lembu.. QUOTE(jctasoga @ Nov 24 2009, 04:29 PM) how much to do the conversion? is it the rear suspension got so much effect on cornering? i just feel the waja wobbles a lot during cornering so thats why i ain't so confident driving it. but with persona, i dare to corner kao kao during my first time driving.. hehe.. talk about dare devil cornering average 120kmh on pagoh roads.. haha.. Where would you recommend to do it? I'm also interested on VIM mod? Care to meet for TT? VIM mod it need to drill the VIM there and need some time to do.. RM1k is enough but not include the rear GTi anti roll bar. If you interested, i help u check the price and then change at my working SC. |

QUOTE(jctasoga @ Nov 24 2009, 10:07 PM) oh.. i only know the PDT connector is there hm... maybe we can start the wire splicing from there... but like wat u said, there is a module for vtec out there already. is it from pivot? so i think we should be able to modify it to fit our purpose.. hehe... I dun think is from pivot. Hehe... QUOTE(VerM @ Nov 24 2009, 10:31 PM) PDT is so costly. And you can't get the update software for it. QUOTE(ahpaul82 @ Nov 24 2009, 11:03 PM) QUOTE(jctasoga @ Nov 25 2009, 10:49 AM) singchaii, the persona only fit for rear section only is it? front portion cannot use? i would have thought suspension need both front and back to be same set then only will be good to perform... Front already good.. Hehe... QUOTE(zenwarlord @ Nov 25 2009, 01:39 PM) Can trace the TB wire color code to ECU pin out, and using multimeter to double confirm. Again, removing the ecu take alot of job especially Gen2. But you need to see properly. Some colour code is the same. Only the marking is different. if use multimeter, u need extra careful. You might end up blowing out ur air bag. |

QUOTE(ahpaul82 @ Dec 1 2009, 07:21 PM) incomplete meh? For cps engine, it requirement for 10w-30 or 10w-40. If you use mineral, the hydraulic tappet adjustment will jam. If use fully, the engine will have loud tappet sound and for few years, you will see engine oil leaking at oil seal.at least i can find more info about the LCD Display (Odometer/Trimeter) hmm... top up another few hundreds can get hotbits full set exhaust already... In other forum, they suggest 10W-30 engine oil for CPS Engine ... |

QUOTE(ahpaul82 @ Dec 1 2009, 08:18 PM) then the suitable engine oil for CPS Engine would be 10W-30 or 10W-40 Semi Syn?? i was tempting to try 5W-30 or 10W-30 Fully Syn engine oil for my next service... some CPS users claimed that using 10W-30 engine oil will make the engine sound more rough... |
